with soo many naeng myun(korean cold black noodle) places poping up in koreamoku like zits on the first day of sophomore high school its hard to get real naeng myun relief! After waiting 30 min for mckinley car wash a friend and I decided to go next door to Yu Chun for some bul kogi and naeng myun. If u know naeng myun thenu know that theres a dozen of places in koreamoku that has naeng myun for like $ 5 – 6 but dont let the price entice you for a skimp plate! for $ 30 u and a friend can have your own bowl of noodles and a sizzleing plate of bulgogi or kalbi. I recommend the bulgogi becuz u get more and the naeng myun spicy! yummm yummerz! got my fill and best belive ill be back soon! we had a little problem with the credit card but it happens so im not gonna get into that. highly recommended! must try peroid!

This is where I ate my first of many bowls of chic naeng myun. Oh yeah. All naeng myun are not made equal. I love cold noodles and if I’m going to have Korean style cold noodles, I want chic naeng myun. This location is a little harder to find since it’s tucked into a oddly designed strip mall. Parking isn’t the best but I never had a problem finding a spot. The décor isn’t great but, seriously, who cares about the color of the walls when you’re too busy slurping down some awesome cold, chewy noodles and icy sweet-and-vinegary soup? There are branches of Yu Chun in other parts of Honolulu and Los Angeles, but I have to say I like it here the best. Must be the water in Honolulu that makes it taste better. I always get the combo with kalbi and I’m never disappointed. The portions they give are generous for the price they charge. I always leave the restaurant happy, stuffed and in dire need of a nap.
