Welllllll we have come here all our lives. It has been solid consistent food and service since the 1990s. Couple of years ago new management came, didn’t change the food but improved the outdoor seating. Then it changed again. Ordered two burgers and fries to go. They forgot one burger but went back in before I got home and got a new one. Got all the way home and the mushroom Swiss burger did not have mushrooms… The cashier seemed mad each time I pointed out the issue. Just check your order and then double check it. Hope it was a one time glitch.

Been here twice. The first time I had a bacon burger really good. The second time I had a jumbo burger that was fresh and yummy. The staff are super friendly. The prices are really really reasonable. The burgers are made from scratch. Yeah.

My husband and I eat here once a week. It is close to where we stay for the weekends. The burgers are great, service is always good, friendly owners, food comes out quick, hot and fresh. Best little place to eat!

We stopped here after my wife surprised me with birthday camping overnight in the forest, and we were famished. Our newborn son was crying, our spirits were dying, when suddenly on the road, we smelled something frying.
Awesome flavorful burgers for really good prices, tasty fries cooked just long enough to be both crispy and soft. Only Pepsi products, but that doesn’t make or break a review! Definitely coming back the next time we make a visit to the Mt. Hood forest.

Loved the burger and crinkle fried. This is a locals place. I think I was the only person who needed to order. Burger was a good size and very tasty. They have a sauce on it that is fantastic. I’ve never tasted anything like it on a burger. This place is my new go to place when I travel through Hood River, Eben though it is a ways of the interstate. It’s worth the detour.

Im a local girl myself and this is definitely one of the «local secret spots». Its hidden away in the upper part of the valley so I feel it doesn’t get the credit it definitely deserves. Their portions and pricing are awesome and they have thr best burgers in town with unmatched sauce. And their shakes are top notch. Im a regular and always will be.

Convenient walk from the airport for good burgers, four kinds of fries and a better selection of great Oregon beers than you will find in most brew pubs. Very reasonable prices and they are now open much longer hours.

Love the fresh burger meat! Alway good nothing but a good burger joint! The super burger will fill any size belly! And nice thick shakes. The view is awesome and now they have beer and wine.

I think this place deserves more recognition. It’s bacon burgers and curly fries always hit the spot. Quick, friendly service. Open, clean kitchen. I haven’t tried much besides their burgers but they have other things like burritos on their menu. Its definitely worth a stop if you ever drive by or don’t want to cook dinner.

The only reason why I came here is because it’s across the street from the airport, real convenient if you fly here and have no car. About 6 tables inside, some picnic tables outside, order at the counter and wait. Nicely air-​conditioned! A real locals joint, I didn’t see a non-​local during the duration of my meal there.
Food was just OK. Not bad, not great. The curly fries were nicely seasoned and crispy. They also serve thick milkshakes and bottled/​canned beers.
They DO nickel & dime you. 0.25 for tomatoes on the burger, 0.50 for Credit Card under $ 20 and $ 1 for over.

The restaurant is small but the portions are not! This is fantastic burger & fry kind of food and the prices are great too. They even have beer. You can’t go wrong here even if you are on a diet. My sister had a side salad that was massive and tasty.

The food is really good & tasty, & very inexpensive. My only issue is that they nickel & dime you for everything else, like 0.25 for fry sauce (ketchup & mayo) & drink refills. They also charge for credit/​debit card transactions. While none of this is criminal by any stretch, it just isn’t the norm any longer. That being said, I am planning a flying trip to Sunriver in Aug/​Sept, & will definitely be stopping in here on my way south. It is right across the street from the Hood River airport! :-)

The place is small and mostly used as a take out or eat outside when the weather is nice. They have hamburgers, sandwiches, burrito, fries and drinks. The burgers are great, have that flame broil taste. Best know for the burgers.
