So easy! My fiancé and I came to Moloka’i for my birthday, when we arrived the car was waiting for us at the airport, we did all «paperwork» ahead of time so we didn’t have to deal with anyone or wait in any lines! We had a cute Toyota Echo, a little dated but it was awesome because of absolute simplicity. If your coming to Moloka’i for a luxury rental car, go to Oahu. Moloka’i rental car is great and I would recommend to anyone!

Molokai Car Rental
Just be ready to be disapointed. It’s Molokai not Honolulu. They have very few cars compared to Oahu or how LA in CA has tons of cars ust sitting there waiting for you.
Also– it is Molokai– stick to the normal roads as off road can get you stuck quickly if it rained recently or you may keep driving to where boats are lowered into the ocean, and you just won’t notice til it is too late.
Also– know that most people on Molokai don’t even use their horns — ever. Notice that police will whizzzz by with no sirens just lights.
Be mindful of right of way– as there are no real signs or traffic singles to speak of at all.
