Heads N Tails

I’ve been several times (6 – 8) and the food is generally good. However, it’s so inconsistent. My favorite dish on the menu is Oyster Port Joe. One week it’s the best oysters I’ve ever eaten and I mean that. I could have easily eaten two dozen. The next week, it wasn’t worth the $ 15 bucks & I’m pissed because I have to pay for it. If they could be consistent with the quality of the food, this wood be the one of the best in Birmingham. I’m still a fan because you never know when it’s going to be great.
The service is usually pretty good. I’ve had a couple of times where the waiter /​waitress dropped the ball but nothing major.
My only complaint it’s loud. That seems to be the trendy thing now days. Wide open spaces, no sound damping. So it’s not a good place for a romantic dinner with your wife but great with a group of friends.
