So this place is amazing! I’m in love with the vanilla chai. It is the best vanilla chai that I’ve ever had. The baristas are really informative and knowledgable about their coffees. You can tell it’s a passion. You can buy some unique coffees by the pound too! There’s a nice lounge area and a small selection of pastries. But I promise– if you try their vanilla chai YOU WILL BE HOOKED!

I made my first visit at this little gem of a coffee shop tonight. And may I just say, I was impressed! I got a spiced vanilla chai tea latte, and it was one of the best chai teas I’ve ever had! Juan, the owner, was very nice and made the experience at Coffee Roasters that much more enjoyable. The atmosphere of this coffee shop is very cozy and inviting. I can easily see myself coming here to study with another chai tea latte in hand. You will not be disappointed coming here and supporting this local business!

This is a great coffee shop. The coffee is good and fresh. There is a great selection of handcrafted beverages and the owner is as nice as she can be! I like coming in here, get a cup of coffee and just sit and read. Definitely recommend it.

We tried the coffee beans through a Groupon deal and I really love the French Roast. I think the other ones were a Cumberland mix and Peruvian beans. The deal was a great way to try out the different beans.

This is a decent coffee shop to go to. Nothing jumps out here. It is stright coffee. Main problem that I have is the time it opens. I am not an am foodie in this type of shop so I do not care about veggie muffins or other stuff. Just coffee please. Will do in a pinch but not my favorite around town there are much better.

This is coffee. This is good coffee. Can’t wait to get some more freshly baked whole beans to bring home to my kitchen. Ahhhh.

I love this place. The flavors they put together are awesome! Everytime I go, they make my drink the same each time. I’ve been to Starbucks so many times and sometimes I get the same drink and it tastes different. The staff is so friendly and they are so helpful in reading the menu and finding something u like. Great place.

Always delicious coffee products and GREAT service. Highly recommended. Much better than Starbucks. I enjoy their smoothies too.

Considering the context, which is kind of a nowhere town with only 90s type Jamaican Me Crazy coffee shops, this place is great. Not the hippest playlist in the speakers, but nice décor, well made coffee, and homemade baked goods. My Americano is actually really nice. Very nice balance, if that’s a term.

I’ve been spoiled always living near a Smoothie King for my post work out treat. We decided to give this place a try over after a year of living here, The smoothies were not good. Way over priced for frozen fruit. The young man that made them for us was overly accommodating saying he’d make us anything we wanted even if it wasn’t on the menu. The smoothie just tasted like iced milk. Won’t be back.

Nearing the end of a 500 mile day along I-​95 there was a need for a good cup of joe before hitting rush hour on the final leg. Unilocal came thru with Cumberland Coffee Roasters in the Hope Mills area.
The short? Great coffee! I had a French pressed cup of the Cumberland’s Blend. It is their medium roast house blend. Wonderful flavor!
I also had a frou frou latte drink, some malt vinegar & sea salt chips, and oatmeal raisin cookies; all of which I enjoyed as well.
The shop had decent seating and décor, wi-​if, was clean, and had pleasant (to me) music (jazz vocal standards). The barista (and owner) Juan was great; readily sharing his knowledge about the coffees they served. He even showed me their roaster! Pretty neat as I had never seen one before.
They also sell a few neat craft items. I bought hand made Valentine card from PeQaBob Crafts (available on
). The craft maker, Virginia Roles was actually there to teach a small class and helped me pick my cards (so did Juan). Overall a great coffee stop. I will be back.

My boyfriend and I stopped in from our road trip to get some caffeine power and we were pleasantly surprised by this place! So glad we didn’t settle for Starbucks.
There was one man working in the shop and he was very pleasant and social. He made our drinks very fast and they tasted SO great! Definitely give this local coffee shop your business! It’s delicious =)

Hope Mills needs more places like this. I am picky about coffee because I drink it black, so it has to be good on its own. This coffee is good on its own.

Great little coffee shop. Nice atmosphere, good for studying. I wish I could give a 4.5 because they don’t offer pour overs but they did have an extensive selection of espresso based drinks. I personally prefer trying different roasts of coffee but I still can’t be too unhappy (not the Starbucks kind but the real coffee). The owner is very friendly and passionate about his drinks. The smoothies are very good.

We found this café while staying two nights in Hope Mills at the Holiday Inn Express for a family reunion. What a find! I was hoping for an iced coffee and Cumberland definitely delivered. A rich cold brewed iced coffee and they even had my almond milk — score! My husband got a cappuccino and stepson a fresh strawberry smoothie, both said their drinks were great. We mentioned that we like croissant breakfast sandwiches, which unfortunately they didn’t have. We visited again the second morning, and guess what was waiting for us? Three croissant breakfast sandwiches! Great customer service, delicious product and comfortable atmosphere. I highly recommend checking this place out!

What a find! The owner loves coffee and it shows! He took a great deal of time showing us the different types of beans and helping us find what we wanted. Come support this place-​you won’t be disappointed! The coffee is incredible!

You can’t beat fresh roasted coffee. I highly recommend the Ethiopian. It sells out quickly so buy it when you can. The smoothies are great as well. And please tip the nice lady at the counter

Found this gem with Unilocal.Assumed owner very hospitable, excited that we found his business. Caramel, Mocha iced Latte was good! Tasted more coffee than the normal syrups that is associated with. My wife is a coffee snob of sorts, she was impressed, which is rarity. We have found our new coffee shop!
