Brett Danko

I wanted to take the time to write a review for Brett Danko and his CFP live review course. Because of his course, I passed the CFP exam on my first try and I cannot thank Brett enough for helping me pass and for the countless others that he has helped pass this behemoth of an exam. I did everything asked of me. I completed the pre-​study, the live review, the practice tests/​cases and reviewed the roadmaps and flash cards. I followed his program to a «T» and ended up passing the CFP exam on my first attempt (thank God because I would’ve jumped out the window if I had to take it over again)!
Brett is a brilliant man but I know a lot of brilliant people. What sets him aside is his humility, ethics, self-​deprecating wit, humor and passion for helping others. I have told everyone I know how incredible his Live Review course was, and the fact that I would pay to do it again, if only for the free stand-​up comedy show (seriously, Brett could have a second career on the NYC comedy club circuit). In all truth, it takes an incredible person to make such exceedingly dry material interesting and, dare I say fascinating, and Brett does it effortlessly. I highly recommend his CFP Live review course for anyone considering taking the CFP exam.

I highly recommend Brett Danko’s CFP review course. It is an intense, four day curriculum where Brett teaches you how to pass this albatross of an exam. Let me repeat; he teaches you how to pass, he does not inundate you with every possible scenario. Where other providers like Kaplan try to impress you with voluminous study materials, Bretts program keeps it condensed.
While he is a very bright guy and Ivy educated, he easily relates to his class. His upbeat personality will keep you awake through unavoidably dry material.
I entered his program with little to no knowledge of investments, insurance, and retirement plans. I emerged a first time passer, one and done.
