Decorators’ Consignment Gallery

I do stop by occasionally to browse this upscale consignment Shop. You never know what you may find there. It ranges from beautiful brand name furniture to awesome decorator treasures. I have purchased many items for both my home as well as my clients! Sometimes I buy a whole lot and there are other times I may just walk out empty handed depending on what I find. Beverly and Jason have to be the two nicest people you would ever want to meet. They never pressure you for a sale, even if you do walk out empty handed like I have many of times! I was there as a matter of fact today and Jason was not there which was a disappointment for me. We have had many great conversations. However, I finally got the pleasure of meeting his lovely wife Beverly. What a wonderful lady she is as well! We happened to start a conversation, and it must have lasted for at least a half hour before I even started looking around! I was always taught by my parents to respect my elders and I was truly amazed at some of these rude comments that I have read especially for a couple of older folks. Whatever happened to respect these days? Something that is lacking big time in my opinion!!! Don’t ever judge someone before you get to know them has always been my motto. I have never had a problem in this store because when I walk in I say hello how are you today and when I leave I say thank you for everything and stay well! If you treat people with respect and dignity then it just may come back to you!!! Try it! I will continue to patronize this shop whenever I get a chance. It is a great shop to browse in when you have some free time to kill! I found an awesome 1800’s English white ironstone tureen today to add to my extensive collection of ironstone. Like I stated, you just never know what treasures you may find in the Decorator’s Consignment! THANK YOU BEVERLY & JASON! You two are the kindest and most incredible couple indeed! Couldn’t agree more with the 1 star rating due to the woman owner’s condescending attitude. The Gentleman has always been pleasant and kind. But she treats everyone including him very harshly.
I recently emailed photos of furniture I wanted to consign per her request and never got any response. Not even a polite thank you but not interested.
Go elsewhere.

Great place; lots of quality furniture. Whenever I’m in the market for something I’ll swing by here first to see if they have anything.

Some of their stuff is ok. It depends what you are looking for. We have bought a piece or two from there in the past. Unfortunately, the owner is so incredibly arrogant and obnoxious that we will never return.
We overheard her speaking to a prospective customer who was looking to place some furniture with her and she was told — quite blatantly — «look I pay $ 5 a square foot here so between my costs and the charge for picking up your items it isn’t worth my time». There are two type of people — those who should patronize my store and those who shouldn’t. You are the latter category!
Wow! Seriously? This lady sells «Other People’s Used Stuff», and thinks she is entitled to treat customers this way? NO THANK YOU! There are lots of other places to buy USED FURNITURE. Without Your Attitude.
