Denny’s

This place is horrible. The last time I went there were ants on my table.

Sad to say we had a less than stellar experience here.
We arrived with about 55 min for lunch. But we were unable to meet that time frame.
Seating was prompt and the server, Gloria, was attentive. However the kitchen was unable to prepare meals in a timely fashion.
I was unable see the time stamp on the check; however, I’d estimate we waited easily 25 min to get our food after placing the order. My observation was that it was not that busy. In our section, I’d guess seating at about 35−40%.
Our varied orders (breakfast food, a melt, a Philly, a burger) came out somewhat piecemeal. 3 meals, including the breakfast order, were served at one time. But the pancakes arrived well after. The burger also came late. Food quality was acceptable. But we didn’t make our 55 min window.
Again, our server was not the problem. But the kitchen is not doing this location any favors to build customer satisfaction on this visit.

I would never come back to this location. Living in New York and Atlanta I drive up and down the road often and I happen to stop in to grab and go. I walk in and the lady just stared at me and then frowned her face. She never said hello even when I did. She never asked may I help you. No one asked may I help you and they all just walked around. When I was ready to order I had a special request and she procceeded to say I dont know if they will do that and it would have to be extra if they can. I didnt care about it begin extra I want what I want and you as an employee shall try to please me. I repeated 4 times what I want why when I get my food it was wrong and I paid too much for the slop they gave me. Then half my order was not available and they didnt let me know until I was waiting for 20 min. Thet didnt even try to help me with my long wait and wrong food I was given. A grab and go meal took an hour with nasty attitudes from employees and the wrong food for all those in my party. Highly disgusted with Denny’s as a corporation and will not patron another Denny’s.

This location is now closed. Me and a buddy went to go eat here. Entrance was blocked off. No one around.

Food service ridiculous! Half of our food arrived, and the other half sat there waiting. Took forever! The other table after us got theirs b4 us!!!

Okay it may be because it’s almost after midnight and we had a large group. Service was very slow and poor. The waitress was very kind and helpful but the kitchen was not working at 100% tonight. If it’s late and your buzzed from the club then this is the place for you.

Ugh I deleted the pictures of my perfectly cooked T-​bone steak seasoned just right… didn’t need A1 but I love it on my steak. Hash brown were cooked completely and crispy the way they should be, my eggs had a good amount of cheese on them… sometimes restaurant add more cheese then eggs. I ordered and had my food under 15mins. The lady that took my order was nice and actually seemed to like her job. Good food, nice service.

Not too bad. I guess the iced coffee is served differently in the east coast than the Midwest. Other than that my ultimate skillet was delicious.

It’s a typical Denny’s. The food is the same no matter if you are here or in Timbuktu. I’ve been here twice in the past year and both time the servers we had were very sweet and quick. It’s nothing to write home about and it’s not a Michelin Star restaurant but it’s also not the worst place I’ve been too. I’ll be back again as well

Stopped in for breakfast.
I ordered the fit slam breakfast. It was egg whites, spinach and turkey bacon.
It was an okay breakfast. I just felt like the place was not as clean as it should have been.
There were flies in the place and I could not focus on the meal nor have the will to eat it.
I ate with 2 other people and the total bill was less than $ 20.
I have not been to a Denny’s since the racial incident that occurred over 10 years ago.
I can not say I recommend this place. If it was cleaner maybe. But I can not get past the feeling of maybe I should help them clean the place up. I also didn’t like the smell of this place. That not clean smell.
The bathroom was not clean either.

Trust the other reviews for this place, the smell is unbearable. The food wasn’t terrible, but that’s the best thing I can say about it. I would love to give this place a negative number, and/​or see it bulldozed.

Coffee was good late at night as I was driving back from Florida. Location was in close proximity to the highway. Restaurant was dreary and rundown looking.

If there was a «zero» I’d give it that. This smell of puke. Omg! I can’t stand this. Don’t come here. Please. Stay away if you can. IHOP isn’t far. Go there.

Great service. Best breakfast at 10:30 pm I’ve ever had. Don’t forget to tip your waiter or waitress.

This is my first restaurant review on Unilocal.As I’m sitting in my hotel room, bored and alone, I figure I write a review and have some fun.
First of all, I usually regard any Denny’s food as mediocre (at best). I just go there because of sentimental reasons stemming from Denny’s in Hollywood, CA. Back when I was going to music school in L.A. (¹⁹⁹¹⁄₉₂), A Denny’s restaurant was the place to go after a hard night of drinking and partying. The first place I ever went to that opened 24 hours and served breakfast for 24 hours (Before any Zippy’s in Hawaii opened for 24 hours).
It seems to me the food at any Denny’s on the Mainland taste better than any Denny’s on Oahu. I don’t know why.
After eating at this particular Denny’s (about 15 minutes ago), I felt compelled to write about my experience. It’s only .2 miles away from my hotel so it was the first and only place I considered to have a late breakfast. The place is clean and set up like any other Denny’s. Same menu and everything. I’ve been here 4 times already but this time was very interesting.
The service was quick and the waitress was very accommodating, however, she didn’t keep a very professional demeanor. They sat me close to the entrance way of the kitchen area. They were having some kind of argument back there and you could hear it well in the dining area.
My waitress was arguing about something with a hostess and another waitress. She came storming out and speaking under her breath profanities and calling her coworkers all sorts of derogatory names while walking her way to me. She was very polite to me and took my order. As she walked away, she continued swearing and complaining under her breath as she walked back to the kitchen.
When she came back out, with my order, she yelled «I’m sick of y’all, don’t say another fu!@@ing word to me until y’all wise the hell up!» She served my food, was very polite to me and refilled my coffee. She walked away and under her breath she says «They better give me a f!@#king break!» and continued with the profanities. Everyone gave her an annoying look. I felt embarrassed for her…
A family left prematurely disgusted with her cussing. A group of soldiers were cracking jokes because of her. A couple left before getting served after hearing her rant. They should suspend her or let her go if she keeps on working that way.
The food was ok.
