This place really deserves zero stars. My husband told the lady that he only wanted a little off the sides and just to trim his hair up… that he was trying to leave his hair long. He never cuts his hair short. He’s lucky and has those nice curls most women would die for. Instead of a trim the lady shaved his entire head. No different length guards or nothing just a very very short one length buzz cut all over. After he drove home and took a few minutes to recover from the shock of having all his hair gone we contacted the place to discuss the problem. After stating his concern very politely the lady literally«went off» and started cursing. She said if we wanted our money back we would have to go to court. Well a $ 20 haircut isn’t worth going to court over. The court fees alone would surpass that. It’s just bad business. I would imagine if a customer was displeased with the services an apology at the very least would have been appropriate. Everyone makes mistakes and has misunderstandings. We couldn’t believe the way she went off ranting and raving. If someone has a problem with a service they received I feel like most people would call the business to discuss the problem. And a professional business would just listen and at least apologize even if they didn’t refund the money. That just seems like the respectful thing to do verses arguing and jumping of the defensive with such profane language. I never write bad reviews. This is actually my first one and I’m 33 years old. This bad review could have been avoided if the lady was just respectful. We are all human and everyone makes mistakes. It’s how you handle them that makes all the difference.

I have never been in and out of a barbershop on a Saturday without an appointment this fast in my life. They did a good job with my hair too. A bit pricey but CLUTCH!

I came into Shear during a trip to Ft. Lee this last week with A HAIRDISASTER! Ms. D was polite, professional, and very attentive. Even as a walk in, she had me in the chair within 10 minutes, and it was obvious that she truly cares about the health of your hair. I received a blow out and trim which was about $ 50 and came out beautifully! The shop is nice and orderly, quality products are used, and service is timely. I will certainly be returning when I’m in the area again!

I’m here training at Ft. Lee for a few weeks and needed a hair cut, and didn’t want to risk it at the base px so I tried this place out because it’s right off post. The place was real clean;chairs, clippers, floors. Me and another guy went and both got great military cuts. They take there time so don’t expect a 5 minute buzz. It cost 17 bucks, so not cheap but worth it for sure. Don’t waste your time and money at some crappy barber. A haircut here looks twice as good and last twice as long.

Shear Images is a great salon. They have about four stylist for women and 3 – 4 barbers. The place is divided into two sections – one side being for the ladies and the other for guys. My stylist is Dee and she’s super efficient and knows her stuff. She cuts hair really well but I have shoulder length hair so I haven’t had the chance to get one of those awesome cuts. This place is right outside of the military installation so clientele consists of civilians and military service members. If you’re like me and hate waiting or if you get frustrated with stylist who book too many clients at one time this place is really worth checking out. I am not sure if all the stylist have great time management like my stylist(Dee) but you definitely should consider getting your hair done here. My hair is much healthier than it was before I started coming here and yours will be too. If I ever get a cut, I’ll update this review in the future.
