I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Wexler and his staff. My daughter has been a patient for both egg and peanut allergy since she was a toddler. Prior to being under Dr. Wexler’s care, we would leave our previous allergist’s office full of despair and anxiety. Once we switched to Dr. Wexler we were filled with hope and confidence because were given all the tools to safely and effectively manage our daughter’s food allergies. Dr. Wexler was on the cutting edge of desensitization protocol which proposes exposing the patient to a small amount of the allergen and increasing over time to build up tolerance. This was effective with our daughter for her egg allergy and several years ago she was able to effectively pass her egg challenge and can now safely eat egg. Today she completed a peanut challenge after both her skin and blood tests showed negative for peanut. I’m thrilled to say she successfully passed her peanut challenge and appears to be one of the 20% of people that outgrow a peanut allergy. I am so pleased with the care and advanced thinking we received while under Dr. Wexler’s care and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Wexler at Advancements in Allergy is a top notch doctor with amazing bedside manner. He and his staff at Advancements in Allergy are amazing in helping diagnose and treat Allergies, like Hay Fever, Asthma, and skin allergies in Minneapolis. I highly recommend him. And I just learned that he was named a Top Doctor by Minnesota Monthly and Mpls St. Paul Magazine!
