We stopped at Jaxon Keys Winery on our way from San Francisco to the Red Woods. My husband and I are newby wine drinkers, but decided to stop at a couple wineries. STACY was really nice and knowledgeable. She took time to take us and our kids down to the grape vines and even pulled off some grapes for us to see. I highly recommend this winery. Lots of amazing wines, beautiful vineyards, great wine education from Stacy!

I have been to Jaxon Keys Winery twice and had a wonderful experience both times. The location is beautiful and the wine is not only amazing but also fairly priced — WINWIN. I personally was met by Amanda, she was professional in every way. She gave us an almost personal tour and testing which made me feel SO special. Her knowledge of the wine was amazing! I can’t disagree with Annie’s below review more. Though there is a certain laid-back feel to the winery, that certainly adds to the charm and getting personalized and friendly service was something I have not experienced at a winery before. I have been to many. Please, do NOT miss the opportunity to enjoy this wonderfully charming winery and it’s professional and likable employees, they are not only knowledgeable but sincere as well. I cannot wait to get up north again and I will definitely be making a third stop at Jaxon Keys. Thank you all for your hard work :) Amanda — thank you for the one of a kind service!!!

This place is Amazing! Amanda and Sarah are the absolute best! We started coming to jaxson keys and joined the wine club because of Amanda, she is the most amazing tasting room person I have ever met! Jaxon keys has the most comfortable and beautiful setting and the girls make you feel so at home! I have given up other wine clubs just to be a part of Jaxon keys! Thanks so much for your hospitality!

We stopped on our way home from Ukiah and had a fantastic experience. The wines were great, and I especially love the chardonnay nickel and the 2012 cabernet sauvignon. My other half brought home a bottle of viognier. Amanda and Sara were very personable, helpful, and delightful. They wanted you to have a great time and try new things. We relaxed on their wrap-around porch with a couple of glasses of grenache, because the house was just too beautiful to not take some time to enjoy. Right as we were leaving, Amanda stopped us to let us try their brandies(old stock and rare). I explained it would be wasted on me as I had never even tried brandy before, but she refused to let us go without a sip. Guess what? Now I love brandy.

Wine is GREAT. Reds are hearty, bold, whites are perfectly done with hints of grapefruit, specifically their Sauvignon Blanc. In fact this visit made me a fan of the latter, generally a Chardonnay drinker. It was the perfect wine tasting, much in part to the very knowledgeable staff — specifically AMANDA. Not only is she adorable, she taught us about the wines in the region, with authority. She is an expert in her field, a rare commodity these days as wineries just cycle the tasters through with little more than a quick, generic blurb at the pour. Amanda, thank you for a delightful experience, you are a gem! Last but certainly not least, the grounds are second to none. Choose your glass of wine, and unpack your picnic basket on their expansive porch that overlook the vineyards. Breathe in the fresh air and take in the beauty of Hopland, CA landscape. You will not be disappointed in your choice to stop at Jaxon Keyes. Side note: Jaxon Keys is also a part of Harvest Hosts. As members we were ecstatic for the opportunity to boondock for the night. They eagerly and graciously welcomed us, gave us a free wine tasting, and comp wine tasting coupons for local wineries. THANKYOUFOR A WONDERFULSTAY

The friendly staff behind the counter were happy to pour me a wide selection of whites and reds. And theyof course waived the $ 5 tasting fee when I scooped up a few bottles of the stainless steel Chardonay. I’m not usually a fan, but bereft of that cloying oaky hue which overhwhelms too many of its ilk, it was easy to imagine loving it with a fruit and cheese plate. The Syrah was also lovely with a bit a chocolate perhaps and I could have been coaxed to take the Primitivo with me too without too much hesitation.

Not only is the wine fantastic but Stacie was the best host we have ever encountered. Beautiful tasting room up on the hill right off 101. To many great notes to add regarding both reds and whites but the big surprise was the award winning bottle of Brandy we purchased. Simply out of this world! Thank you Stacie, you made KTs day!

We stayed at Jaxon Keys guest house the last weekend in July 2015. We were attending a wedding downtown. We reserved through vrbo and Sydney and her team were very communicative and answered my many questions leading up to check-in. Driving all day from San Fran in 100 degree weather was tiresome but getting to Jaxon Keys and seeing the beauty of the vineyards was very rewarding. To get the key we went up to the wine tasting room. We were asked if liked white or red wine. We were a group of 6 with some liking white and some liking red so they gave us a bottle of each. The property, house and views are spectacular! We stayed up late Friday night and sat outside on the deck till nearly 2:00PM just enyoying the views and stargazing. On Saturday we went down to the tasting room and did a wine and brandy tasting! We loved the wine so much that 2 couples(including us) signed up for their wine club. Several other people bought bottles to bring back to the east coast. The team was so informative and helpful is telling us about the area, the wine, pros, cons, etc. It was like we were hanging out with friends and enjoying. There were so many different wines that every person in our party had a different favorite. Saturday after the wedding we continued to enjoy wine in our lovely rental and some Jaxon Keys port. I typically don’t enjoy port but this was spectacular. The boys got cigars as well to enjoy. We are looking forward to our first shipment from the wine club in September and hope someday to visit back soon! Thank you for a spectacular time! Añu and friends :)

Came to Jaxon Keys winery with a group of my friends for my birthday. I’m a member at one of the Wilson Wineries but never had a chance to make it up to Jaxon Keys in the past. We stayed in the Jax House and had a great time! The house is private and the views bring a peaceful relaxing feeling. We stopped by the Jaxon Keys tasting room on our way out from our trip and were pleasantly greeted by Stacie who was a fantastic host and treated us to a glass for my birthday! The wines here are of good quality and the Viognier was surprisingly my favorite of the tasting. They also have outstanding Brandi, really the best I’ve had! The vineyard views are beautiful from the porch and my favorite spot to sit out and sip some wine! I had such a good experience here and I will be coming back for sure!

What a beautiful spot! A renovated old house sitting on top of a hill, a gorgeous view, a large wooden deck, comfy chairs. The setting is relaxing and inviting. Our host, Amanda, was first class too. Her passion for the region and for the wines was obvious and infectious. She also helped us plan the rest of our visit in the area. My girlfriend and I loved the Sauvignon Blanc and bought a couple bottles.

Had the pleasure of meeting Amanda this past weekend! She gave us the most informative and fun taste of what Jaxon Keys has to offer! As well as informing us on which neighboring tasting rooms were worth our time as we headed home down the 101. She also shared her favorite locally owned and run lunch spots! The property is gorgeous! I can’t wait to go back and enjoy the wrap around porch during the summer I could sit out there all day accompanied by the hubbs and a great crisp bottle of white! Preferably one of their fine bottles of Sauvignon Blanc or Farm House White . We also had the chance to taste their Port which is made with their house made Brandy! I’m not a usual lover of Ports because they tend to either be sweet or taste like cough syrup. Amanda had us accompany the taste with a piece of chocolate that sent so many decadent flavors out! It was smooth and delicious! It would be the perfect pair to a rich dark chocolate cake(dang I should have bought a bottle) If you want to have a great wine tasting in Ukiah definitely stop and visit Amanda and Molly! Both sweet gals who are passionate about their wine and people!

Came in here after a day of wine tasting out in Anderson Valley. We were a group of 6 and the two girls behind the counter pouring for us were very friendly. They didn’t seem annoyed that we came in 40 minutes before closing. The tasting room was pretty much empty when we came in so needless to say the service was fantastic. The wines were all good but not some of my favorite that I tasted throughout the day. I do remember that the aromas were all delicious. To be fair, it was the last stop of the day, so my tastes could have been thrown off. I think this is a nice tasting room and I’d go back and give them another try in the future when I’m out that way. To sum up; great service, nice tasting room, decent wines. If I could give them 3.5 stars, I would!

We stayed at the guest house a couple weeks after another reviewer(Gretchen S) gave it a one star, so needless to say, we were a little apprehensive. When we arrived, the check in was quick and easy. The house incredible! and the girls Stacy, Sharon and Tara) in the tasting room friendly and fun. Oh yea, the wine was pretty good too. Recently stopped back in with a few friends, only to find out a couple of the ladies from the tasting room have left… no disrespect to the new ones, but the old ones were great! Any ideas were they went or why they left?
