Gateway Tire & Service Center

Very disappointed. They made me walk back to my hotel across 6 lines of traffic. Then promptly charged me $ 149 for a battery I could find for $ 99. Rip off alert. Stay away!!!

Awful. They put regular oil in my synthetic only engine. This was after my husband called to ask if they were able to service my vehicle correctly. This was after waiting 2 hours for said oil change. I asked 3 times if everything was okay and how much longer with the answer being not long now. The manager finally told me they didn’t have the things they needed in stock. After looking at my receipt I notice synthetic oil wasn’t used. They said they were sorry but didn’t really seem concerned or contrite.

While on vacation in Memphis this weekend, my husband and I woke up to find one of our tires very low. Since we had literally just filled them with air the night before, we knew that something had to be wrong and we drove (very slowly) to Gateway Tires, as it was right by our hotel. The staff were all really friendly and were quick to discover a screw in the sidewall of one of our tires. When we told them the tires were relatively new and still under warranty, they filled the tire up with air so we could get to the nearest Goodyear location, which they gave us directions to. They didn’t charge us anything for their assistance. If we lived closer, we would definitely go here for all of our tire needs.
