Married here in May. The BEST service-staff was flawless in their execution of the event. Food is good, property is beautiful, and everyone you work with is very professional. Highly recommend this place for any function, but especially for a wedding.

Yay! My cousin got married here. I had no idea what to expect but was more than pleasantly surprised by the venue, the grounds, the food, and the staff. The ceremony was outdoors in a small garden surrounded by trees(so it was secluded from the golf course). The reception was indoors where we were served a variety of appetizers. The most memorable was the bacon-wrapped scallop. Surprisingly well cooked and the proper temperature. The dinner was also delicious. I had the filet, which was cooked well. The sides weren’t anything exciting(steamed vegetables and mashed potatoes) but they were good. The manor itself is sort of older(in a pretty and historic way, not a dilapidated way) so the doorways are quite short(I guess because people were shorter way back when). Also, probably due to the age of the building, the A/C seemed quite fussy. It was freezing cold in some parts of a room while it was sweltering hot in the opposite corner. However, the bathrooms were clean and looked to be recently renovated. The servers were kind and helpful. Towards the end of the night when they were serving cake, my sister and I were sitting at our table, drooling. The servers started handing out cakes on the opposite side of the room but one guy spotted us looking quite jealous, took pity, and brought us cakes right away. Overall, a great experience. I don’t know how much the wedding cost, but if you’re getting married in this area, I’d definitely check this place out.

I’ve been to two weddings at the Manor House and both have been awesome events. The outside deck is great when the weather is nice.

I’ve been to many events at The Manor House and each one for a different occasion. I have never felt that anything less than total perfection was permitted on the premises. Wonderfully furnished, attention to presentation from the cocktail room through the dining room and lounges, and excellent food prep and flavor from appetizers through dinner. The servers actually took the time to come around the table to request your choice of temperature for your meat. How many times has that happened at the weddings you’ve been to? There is a reason that The Manor House at Commonwealth hosts the most wedding receptions annually than any other Country Club in the Philadelphia area.

My wife and I were married at the manor house in April, 2011; I have nothing but absolute praise for this location. They are very easy to work with from day 1 until after the wedding day. I was not sure what to expect based on what other guys have told me about the locations they had picked(not the Manor House) but my experience was perfect. We still get people that tell us that the food was the best they have ever had at a wedding. They use an on-site caterer and the food was prepared on time, to temp(steaks) and without issues, and above all else delicious. The venue is classy and has an excellent presence. I was concerned about a location since I am in real estate, so I wanted a location that has a great presence and wonderful views and this location had both. The front of the building is a historic building with a new addition off the rear overlooking the golf course. From start to finish I do not have 1 issue to bad word to say about the Manor House. I would suggest this location to anyone looking for a classy, worry free wedding, they are truly the best! On a side note, my rep at the Manor House was Jenn and I am sure everyone there is just as helpful but she was great to work with!

I recently attended a Bat Mitzvah party here. Very nice atmosphere with panoramic views from the back. We were expecting run of the mill catered food. Totally surprised… the food was fabulous… all of it! There were different stations: pasta, made-to-order stir-fry, salmon and sides, and best of all, carved tenderloin with bernaise. Delish!

I performed a New Year’s Eve wedding at the Manor House at Commonwealth. What a truly gorgeous setting! The staff were more than pleasant and accomodating. They really go the extra distance to make your event memorable. I can’t wait to return!

I had my wedding at the Manor House a few weeks ago, and could not recommend it more strongly. From the first time that I met with them, it was clear that this venue takes customer service to a new level. Everyone that we worked with was extremely professional and helpful. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch, and the banquet manager made sure that everyone was where they needed to be, when they needed to be there. All of the food(in house catering) was absolutely delicious. Fan favorites were the Kobe beef slider hors d’ouerves, the ravioli appetizer, and the filet mignon. The ballroom is stunning, with a huge veranda and beautiful views of the Commonwealth National Golf Course. I would give them 6 stars if I could.
