One of best hotels I’ve stayed at. A friendly cozy environment. Breakfast was served everyday with sometimes snacks during the afternoon. Dog friendly so we took our pup and they have a dog park in the back for them to do their business. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Also close to downtown destinations. You can walk to many shops and restaurant. And if you don’t want to walk they have a free bus to take you.

We stayed here for only one night. We were very happy with our decision. Great location with many bars and restaurants at walking distance. The hotel is older, but was still clean and looked nice. The staff was very friendly except for the girl making omelettes for breakfast. She was so rude to almost every person that went through the line. She would yell at customers and give them disgusting looks. You could tell she either really hated her job or just didn’t want to be there. I would definitely stay here again if I came back to Hot Springs.

We spent three nights here, so we got a pretty good feeling of the place and were happy that we chose to stay here. It is one of the better and newer locations in town and is definitely where I think I would stay again in the future. We had a very nice room that made for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Having the living area in addition the the bedroom makes it someplace that you do not feel that you need to be out doing something so that you are not trapped in the room. The hotel is a couple blocks off the main tourist section, but is in easy walking distance of the Hot Springs National Park and the main shopping area of downtown. We really enjoy the open atrium at Embassy Suites and this location was no exception. We brought some games with us from home and enjoyed playing them in the atrium area. The managers happy hour is always a bonus as well and a great way to enjoy the early evening hours before going out to dinner. We ate the Thanksgiving buffet in the bistro while we were there. The food was excellent and we are thankful that the wait staff was there and made it possible for us to have a nice meal while away from home for Thanksgiving. While the wait staff was very nice and trying hard but not overly efficient. The only issue that we ran into and thus the 4 star rating instead of 5 is that the housekeeping staff was not very attentive to basic items such as making the beds well if you are spending more than one night. Each time it looked like they had replaced the towels and done the bare minimum to make up the room. We enjoyed our stay in Hot Springs and the Embassy Suites gave us a great place to call home while we were there.

Very nice clean hotel. Comfy bed and couch. Free drinks, free breakfast. Swimming pool and hot tub were nice and clean. The fitness room was pretty good but would have been nice to have a squat rack XD I still got in a good workout tho! Hands down the best hotel in the area!

We just had the most wonderful hotel stay ever!!! The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are clean. Every employee we came in contact with couldn’t have been any nicer. We were coming up to just stay for several days. Our car broke down about 15 miles from the hotel. We had to have a taxi take us to the hotel in the middle of the night. The next day we had to have it towed and taken to the shop. The staff would ask how our car was doing in the shop. The shuttle was excellent for us with three small kiddos. The pool was super clean. We loved the breakfast! For a bad situation, it couldn’t have turned out any better!!! We will definitely be back!

Our stay here was fantastic! The continental breakfast was better than any I’ve ever had! Everyone was friendly, the room was clean, and they offered free snacks and drinks during happy hour. I would definitely stay again!

Hotel was clean and attractive. EVERY staff interaction we had made us feel cared for. The breakfast was good. The hotel was really crowded, but they coped well. We couldn’t find a bell cart because they were all in use. It’s close to Bath House Row and we walked to the farmer’s market.

Worst Embassy Suites ever. Rude check-in staff. No parking and they had a dozen cars constantly parked by entrance so it was difficult to both unload and load. Tons of smokers right outside both doors, so much that our car smells like smoke from just packing. Do not stay here if you have a choice.

Really enjoyed our stay. Family trip with two six year olds so the drinks and snacks at the manager’s reception were a welcome treat. The room was clean, comfortable and had a beautiful view to boot! The indoor pool was clean and open until midnight. Breakfast was wonderful and the kids loved it, the omelets were great!

Pretty decent place. Our room was nice and big. Did find someones contact lens on the counter in the bathroom… which tells me it hadn’t been cleaned. Then we were really counting on sleeping in since we had no kids ;) and the maid comes beating on the door at 9!!! She asked to come in and clean and we said no thank you and she said well… aren’t you checking out and we said no, not yet. Check out is at 12pm! Anyway, other than that just like any other hotel.

We have stayed at this Embassy several times now, on road trips, it provides a good stop over. They are dog friendly, which is helpful on road trips. We used the hotel this year to meet family(as a half way point). We knew it would be cold and wouldn’t be able to be much around town, so we were depending on the spa and indoor pool to serve as entertainment for us all. The beds and rooms are dated, however, we all agreed that we slept well. My sister-in-law had three children under 7 and they offered a corner suite, which had 200 sf. more-a nice bonus. They also brought an extra hide-away bed, which was much better than a cot. The indoor pool was a little cloudy and the hot tub water seemed a little slimy(although typical, still made you not love the experience). My daughter got a rash that covered her entire body after swimming-while we think it was a reaction to the chemicals, we aren’t sure exactly what caused it. Our stay was 12÷30−1÷3, so we were at the hotel for New Year’s Eve. There was a balloon drop at midnight and dancing and music all night long. It was a festive environment. Although the event was a reserved night that was an extra charge, no one minded when the kids watched the balloon drop at midnight-and even went crazy with the balloons once they fell. Would be nice if the event was not an extra charge and for all hotel guests to enjoy. We like the open floor so we could watch the kids walk to their cousin’s room. We felt safe. These two things are huge when traveling with families(could even see to the atrium from our floor if we needed to spot the children-or spot them on the glass elevator) We had the same housekeeper almost the whole time we were there: Angie. Awesome and friendly! With all of our kids and being between our rooms, she had her work cut out for her. She would clean one while we huddled in another, and then we would move to another-our rooms were not even on the same stretch and she would do one and then the others. She left extra towels, picked up a little and the rooms felt great when she was done-but her happy(not frustrated with any of the stuff) attitude is what added to peaceful days for us. The spa was nice. It’s not over the top, but nice people, good service and a good mix of services. The negatives: front desk service and breakfast service. The front desk people are always right there as you enter and exit. They are usually looking down and don’t look up, greet you with a smile, or react at all to your coming and going. The breakfast was not great, but it was included with the room, so it is always better than just a bagel. But, when they say breakfast ends at 9:30, they mean it. One of the children was getting juice at 9:32 and Lori unplugged or turned off the machine while he was getting orange juice. The next day, he was trying to beat her and went up next to her while she was still cleaning up that area, looked at him trying to get juice(she had already turned off the machine) and kept on with he job. So, she is efficient-but not hospitable. Lori was the downer of the whole stay. We get it, there has to be a cutoff; however, it’s one child getting juice and she was still working in the area. I would suggest turning off the drink stations last for any stragglers. All in all the hotel was what we needed for our families to enjoy our time together, but might want to improve the first floor customer service(perhaps Angie could help them out).

This hotel has a lot going for it that made our stay more enjoyable. Upon arriving and checking in the woman at the front desk gave us maps around town, told us about local attractions and gave us a list of some of the best places to eat. My husband and I found that very helpful since we had never been to Hot Springs. We then enjoyed time in their common area(it has a waterfall, bar, piano music) drinking the complimentary cocktails and eating snacks they provide in the evening. Once we were ready for dinner a shuttle was provided at no cost to us to take us there and bring us back. We really appreciated that so we could have some drinks and enjoy the evening without having to drive. This was pretty much the perfect place in our book until we got to our room, which is the reason I’m only giving three stars. It is definitely not the worst room I’ve ever stayed in, but for the price it could have been much better. A few things that bothered us were: 1. The room smelled stale like it had once been smoked in. It didn’t give off a pleasant clean smell. 2. There were big black stains all over the carpet. 3. When I took a shower there was mold on the shower curtain and hairs on the wall of the shower. 4. When we went to bed my husband crawled in and felt something weird. When we pulled back the sheets and there were giant holes in the fitted sheet. He had put his foot through the hole. Upon inspecting more, there were holes all in it everywhere. 5. The pillows smelled like dirty scalp. I’m probably pickier than most, but I don’t think I would stay there again. Maybe go the lobby for drinks and snacks, but that’s about it.

This was my last vacation for the summer and I must say I had a great experience at this hotel. First of all the rooms are great to be in. They have two TVs in every room, a couch bed, and a bathroom clean to everyone’s satisfaction. I enjoyed staying in my room and so did my family. I felt like it was my own home. The shower ran nice and everything else was decent in the room. The dining room has a free breakfast every morning for 3 hours. I loved how they set up the buffet for meals and they also have an ordering station so you can order an omelet how you want it. There’s also a piano bar for entertainment at night and humor if anyone wants to take the mike. The fountain by the elevators was a beautiful sight to look at and I loved the plants for the décor in this hallway. That’s probably my favorite place in the hotel. The pool is located on the 2nd floor, along with a gym. I loved the hot tub next to the pool. However the pool is not a huge size, but good for a few families to swim in. I loved the gym, even though it is not so big. It’s a good 20 minute workout room with tred mills and dumbbells. This area is ok, and it has a nice patio by the pool to look outside for a view. Or you could just take seat and enjoy the sun. Lastly there’s good parking around the hotel. Even if you’ve ran out of places to park, there’s a big parking lot out back even though it’s kind of a walk. Of all the hotels I was at this summer, this hotel is by far the best one I’ve visited. I will certainly come back whenever I can and I’m absolutely thrilled this hotel is around for families who visit Hot Springs. What a beautiful hotel to stay at!

The rooms were clean. That’s about all I can say positive about this hotel. We recently stayed here and the experience is one I won’t forget. I think I got one to two hours of sleep between the unruly guest roaming the halls, the police being called, the party in the room next door till sun up… We weren’t able to enjoy the breakfast because we just wanted to get out of that place. There was some sort of family reunion and a wedding going on that weekend, but the hotel staff had no ability to control there own guests. My daughter had to sleep on the floor in the main bedroom, because she was so scared of the people in the hallway. Take your chances when booking this hotel.

I am changing my review again back to 3 stars. If you read my last review there were some unfortunate occurrences during my stay. By the end of the stay I asked to speak to the head of housekeeping who came to my room and we spoke. She seemed embarrassed by the situation and apologized. I am still not sure what smell was in question as we were just getting ready for the day(showering, shaving, make up, etc…) But the apology was enough. Breakfast is still a little sub par, mainly the eggs. But, a free breakfast and managers reception make Embassy one of the better options in most major cities. We switched from the Arlington to the Embassy for our bi annual trip to Hot Springs 4 or 5 years ago. We will weigh our options next year, but the convenience of the location is nice as well. I would like to add that there was one bell man working the front door and 3 people who appeared to be working the front desk. I asked one of the 3 desk workers that were all free and not attending to anything else to call us a taxi, and I was told that I would have to ask the bellman to do it. He was unloading a car outside with no assistance, so I called a cab myself. The front desk clerk did make an attempt to tell the bellman when he returned with his cart of luggage some 5 minutes later, but I must confess, the lack of effort was a little disturbing.

We came here for our anniversary expecting better, only to be disappointed. The hotel itself is older which was fine we like older and places with charm, however upon arrival the front desk is not at all friendly. We told them ahead of time we are paying cash yet they still ran our card, and we asked to get upgraded if possible and all we got was a snippy little sorry because they were only checking people in and out at the time. For an embassy suites you expect better, we will be back to hot springs but we will stay at Catherine’s landing in their cabins. You pay for what you get and we overpaid for what we got. Do not book here there are better places around.

Excellent Embassy Suites. Nice décor, great breakfast, fun nightly reception. We ate at the on-site restaurant, even though we tend to be cheapskates, and it was great and well-priced. They have a free shuttle for anywhere within 3 miles. Also walking distance to a lot of things. I called ahead because it was my mom’s birthday, and they decorated the room, ordered a cake for me, etc. It was really nice of them – they went above and beyond. My sister got a facial at the spa, and it was well-priced. They gave her extra time and treatments for free. I see some complaints about Internet, but I think if you just sign up for Hilton Honors(for free), you can get free Internet. That’s what we did. I also see some comments about not making local calls because of charges, but really, who needs a land line these days? Overall, a great experience. Just what we were looking for.

We stayed here three nights recently. It was very comfortable, since we stayed off-season, during school days! It seems like a high-class hotel at first glance, only. And that’s good for those like us, who want nice, but also want to save money The rooms are spacious, all suites. The piano music wafts up from the atrium-lobby to the all the rooms of the hotel. The good: This is the best breakfast I’ve ever seen served in any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Made to order omlettes and pancakes; coffee and juice, of course; fruit, oatmeal, grits, bacon, sausage links, scrambled eggs… Pool and hot tub open til midnight, and happy hour bar with two free drinks per guest. The bad: local phone charges. DON’T make any, unless you have cash to burn! And don’t pay for in-room wi-fi. The free wi-fi in the lobby is strong enough to connect in your room, although they don’t want you to know that.
