Try coley’s for their panini sandwiches and lunch specials. They offer a nice atmosphere and good food.

I am fairly new to town and have been here 3 times already! The sandwiches are great! I love their cuban! The pita chips are fantastic! Friendly staff and great atmosphere.

Very cute place to eat for lunch. They are only open for breakfast and lunch Mon-Fri They have delicious paninis, soups and salads. Great place to eat in the downtown area. The sandwich comes with pita chips that is a must or crispy sweet potato fries. Delish

As cute as a yellow-ribboned wicker basket filled with pastel-colored Easter eggs, and just about as masculine. Coley’s comes closer to embodying the«ladies who lunch» establishment than anything I’ve seen in Louisiana. You know the drill: dried cranberries, julienned almonds, pesto spreads on panini bread, flavored ice teas… And yet, while the front-of-the-house is exclusively the domain of attractively smiling young women, the kitchen is exclusively male. Sure enough. First time I went, the service screwed up my order – twice – at their cost. But even without the mistakes, the pace of the meal was sluggish enough during an only moderately busy noon lunch hour that it would deter people from going there on a break from work. And the Cuban sandwich was almost without taste. Perhaps it needed diced grapes or a honey mango avocado chutney? Visit #2: Carry-out, and I decided to stimulate my dormant estrogen for a fruity salad with blue cheese on mixed greens. It wasn’t half bad, but the $ 9 salad didn’t even quite cover the bottom of the clamshell that it came in. Hugely disappointing from those stingy dudes in the kitchen. Against better judgment I gave Coley’s one last try – this time the pesto panini, and it was sizable and delicious, and arrived promptly. Finally enough of a win to keep me from lobbing this place with negative review. I’m guessing it’s a brand-new little lunch spot, so maybe they’ve just got to work out their kinks? At this point I’d heartily recommend the place if it gets some good management… either female or male.
