Goodwill Industries of Southeastern La of Houma

I am beginning to think Houma is some sort of alternate universe. Every person I have encountered in the entire area has been polite, friendly and gone out of their way to be helpful. Goodwill was no different.
I had several items to donate one Saturday evening. Being that I was not too familiar with the area, I searched Unilocal and found this location. I was a little concerned that heading there right before they closed would frustrate them, but it didn’t. They gladly accepted my items, helped me unload my truck, and gave me a receipt all while being cheery. I have donated plenty of stuff before and these people were the nicest I have ever encountered.
In summary, if you have stuff to donate and are in Houma, come here.
Note: They will take box springs and couches, but no mattresses. Apparently they take the bedbug epidemic seriously.
