Recently stayed at this Hotel on business and I want to start with it is very clean and they do take care of the rooms the reason I am writing this hotel a 2 star is because of the interaction with the staff here they are very unprofessional and very rude and I will give you an example while I am staying here the guest below me were complaining that I am stomping and being loud I am simply walking not having a party, I am here on business therefore I am just walking normally the staff at the front desk was very rude when they called me to tell me this. I also needed quarters for my laundry when I asked the front desk if they had change for $ 3 in quarters she very rudely told me we don’t have that here which I don’t care that I couldn’t get quarters here but it’s the way that they were talking to me that made me feel unwelcomed. I definitely would not stay at another hotel with this name if that’s the service that is provided to the people who pay to stay here. The parking situation is decent there is a lot of empty space but they do not have an overflow lot so whatever parking is available in the front is what you get there is also a few restaurants within walking distance such as the McDonalds on the corner and the gas station on the other side there isn’t a lot of traffic in and out or on the main road and it is very quiet for the most part. They do have an indoor laundry facility that you can use they also have breakfast in the morning provided for you free of charge if you are there within a certain time I believe the breakfast starts at 6AM. I can’t think of any more problems that I had during my visit other than the rude interaction with the staff and that right there is what killed your 5-star rating and I must say customer service is very important and when you make the guest feel unwelcomed this is the consequences. Also to continue on the first paragraph this was the first phone call I have received from any of the hotels that I stay at and I frequent a lot of them being with the company that I am with and I’ve never had a noise complaint. This was also my first phone call while staying at this property and the staff didn’t need to be so rude when they called they could have politely ask me to stop stomping apparently and I would have explained the situation this highly irritated me.

I recently stayed here for my second stay. On both occasions the hotel was very clean and the staff wonderful. I have to agree with another poster. Don’t stay in room 122 if you want a quiet stay. There’s too much noise from the front desk. The internet is slow, but it’s free so I was satisfied with the service. Their rates are surprisingly low considering the amenities in the room.

Did not have the clean issues my stay, nor problems with shower. Water was very hot and did not run out. I was here for 8 nights on my job but my reservation was accidently made for 7. When we discovered this was 1130 on parade day of Mari Grau, everyplace was booked. All through my stay Tamika, Carmen, and NeeCee were helping me with directions and advice on places to eat that were local and I might add amazing. This day these three ladies worked very hard to find a way to prevent me from sleeping in my car. WAYTOGO! They came through for me again, and did so with laughter and a warm smile. They really cared and it showed. My only complaint was I was in room 122 next to front entry and fitness room. The fitness room closes at 9 pm but if your going to bed at 7 and waking at 3:30 that’s not good. Very friendly people make for loud check in’s at night. So if you need rest and rise early… avoid 122. Other than that I will be back for sure. Thanks to Tamika, Carmen, and NeeCee.

Short stay! Had blood stains on my bed spread and looked like someone wiped a bloody booger on the door that separates the bedroom from the bathroom. Saw that while ironing my shirt. Also my TV was on the fritz where every channel looked like cartoon. The downstairs attendant was awesome. He came up with a new bed spread, and saw the tv and agreed it was done and took one from another room. He also saw the bloody booger and was kind enough to clean it off for me. That was gross but the graveyard guy was pretty awesome! The bed was comfortable but it made me think of what else wasn’t clean. I went around the room with my clorox wipes and wiped down all the knobs, light switches, phone hand sets and table edges. I also lifted the bed to make sure there weren’t any creepy crawlers. Once that was done I went to bed. Beds comfy, accommodations were comfortable enough for the time spent. Wi Fi wasn’t great. Went in and out. Breakfast provided but limited to high carb high sugar items. No eggs or bacon/ham or anything so if you have sugar issues, I wouldn’t suggest eating anything there or you can grab and apple or orange or maybe a bowl of cereal. The cereal wasn’t of any quality but if you were totally desperate then you at least have that available to you. There is a gas grill out back and smoking is only outside either in front or in the back. Parking is plentiful. You really need a vehicle if you’re staying here.
