While I was excited for something different, I feel a little let down. I did not think the gyro was all that great, and the tzatziki sauce could have used a bit more flavor. Also, the lack of onions was sad. That being said, I would probably get food from there again, but try something else.

Menu was very good. Great lunch spot for you guys hustling to find a good meal for your lunch break. Chicken Schwarrma was a tad dry, but good. The hummus was very good and the overall look of the place had a warm feel. It’s a little loud in there, so don’t plan on a quiet dinner. Overall it was a good experience.

Bravo to Sarah(Yes, there’s an actual Sarah) for offering something other than truck stop food in quiet little Houma. This establishment features all the staples of a Mediterranean resturaunt to include gyros, greek salad, hummus, grape leaves and baklava. Good portions, reasonable prices and conveniently located for on-hitch pilots stuck at KHUM!

Attached to Sarah’s convenience store and gas station, this recently owned restaurant offers traditional Louisiana fare like Po Boys, but the real treasure is the Mediterranean cuisine. Shish kabobs, gyros, falafel and hummus — it’s all here and it’s all GOOD. A welcome addition to Houma.
