Sunny Pancake House

Great family style diner! Breakfast omelette was very tasty and on point with original diner food. Friendly service and very clean.

The décor was simple yet well-​appointed. The service was slow but food was delicious. The Jalapeño Burger had everything my heart would desire within a burger. However, the portion of fries were not very generous. Nonetheless, good food at a fair price.

I don’t usually give bad reviews. But after reading the other reviews on Unilocal,I decided to. Apparently, the 30 – 40 minute wait time to get your food is a common theme at this place. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because they were «busy», but it apparently happens often, busy or not.
Also, the manager was very unprofessional. I’m not sure she understands what customer service truly means.
Also, the temperature inside was uncomfortably warm! The food was less than average. For it being a «pancake house», the pancakes were not even worth eating.

The food was actually really good! I got crepes, aka really think pancakes, with eggs bacon and hash browns.
However the service was less than really good. First I was told there wasn’t any cream cheese for the crepes. And i said that’s fine. Then I was told actually we have cream cheese but don’t have fruit for the Danish crepes. So I asked for the strawberry and banana crepes. Which were also really good.
But the problem was just the time it took to get our food. Probably at least 30 minutes. And the restaurant was not busy at all. Only 2 other families there.

Diner theme, plays 50’s music which I enjoy. For it being empty, food does take quite a while to arrive. The waitress named FiFi was so thoughtful and probably one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had. Request her if you go.

Very slow service. Food takes too long to come. Dinning room half empty but still waiting almost 30 minutes for food. Drink does not get refilled unless u ask for it.
It took little over 40 minute for food to arrive. It felt little 2 hours when u have 2 little kids with us. Food good.

The atmosphere is minimal, diner-​like, but the décor just seemed kind of slapped together, it didn’t make much sense… .but at 11pm, I’m at a pancake house for food, not ambiance.
The strawberry and cream cheese stuffed french toast was nothing special, but pretty good. It was missing something but I couldn’t put my finger on it.
The pancakes were also alright, but didn’t really meet the expectation built buy a place with the word «pancake» in the name.
The chicken and waffles were a little disappointing. The coating on the chicken was hard and crunchy (something I would expect from a bar) and the waffle was under-​cooked.
The service was very very friendly. Yay!
I’d definitely come back for some late night bites if I’m nearby, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again.
