We came here for the first time and were pleased with our visit. We had spinach and artichoke dip as well as fried mozzarella logs as our appetizers and they were both delicious. The dip was very cheesy and creamy just how we like it. The mozzarella logs were great as well, cheese was very oozy and melty, they way a good cheese stick should be. Our kids got the kids’ shrimp entrée, kids’ chicken entrée’, and the kids’ catfish entrée’. All were good and I was really empressed with the quality and portion size for the kids food. All were served on a plastic frisbee that they could take home. My husband had the Cajundillas which is a quesadilla with boudin, grilled chicken, andouille, and melted Monterrey jack cheese. It was served with red beans and rice and it was surprisingly really good. I ordered the Boom Boom Shrimp appetizer as my meal along with a small order of cheesy waffle fries. If you are someone who likes these types of shrimp dishes, I’m sure you will enjoy this one as well. However, I was expecting it to be more a a buffalo style sauce instead. Personal preference, but it wouldn’t be my first choice next time. Our server was really attentive a polite and we never had to wait on drinks which is always a plus. Overall, we had a great visit and will be back I’m sure!

I wanna give an awesome rating for the food; never had any problem with any of the dishes i have ordered here. But the server, Lakyn, is by far the worst walkon girls I have ever had to deal with. She literally screwed the drink orders of my company, she rushed us to get the check even though there were nobody waiting to be seated at the moment. Cut her offffff bc she pulled my companys dish while she was eating!!!

The food and service are good, but it’s too loud. The extremely loud music(headache inducing loud) and general noise ruin an otherwise good experience.

Love the atmosphere– but wasn’t too pleased when I had another diner come sit by our table to smoke out of the window… then when we were served our spinach dip, there was a layer of grease or butter on top of it that we literally poured off our plate before we ate our meal. I told the waitress that. She said sometimes when the cooks are new, that sometimes happens. Wasn’t the best.

This evening we came to Walk Ons for the first time in Houma. The food was great, and our server(KK) was super sweet, helpful and friendly. We definitely enjoyed our experience and can’t wait to come back!

Exactly what they advertise. Plenty of tv’s, plenty of beer and a surprisingly flavorful menu. Great sports atmosphere.

This place is awesome. First, it is great to watch sports. They have a lot of TVs there and they play a lot of games. They have a great beer selection for a reasonable price, and the food there is good. I got the Black Jack Chicken Sandwich and the chicken was so good! Thumbs up!

I have been here about 5 times and twice when they were kinda busy the food took forever! The waitresses are always nice but that food takes a minute.

The food was really good. The cheese fries appetizer was really good. I had the Hickory burger, my wife had the surf n turf burger, my son had the shrimp. Everything we got was very good. Service was fast and friendly as well.

The food was great! Big portions which will demand a to go plate. The food was seasoned very well and fave you a true taste of Cajun food. Great food, great game, great drinks, and great people you can’t ask for anything more. I will definitely be going back to try out more from their menu.

Had a pretty good experience here last night. The spinach dip was delicious, and the chicken sandwich looks like it requires a real man to take it down. If you are in Houma, looking for a sports bar, check them out.

Walk-On’s is the new kid in town regarding restaurants in Houma, making it the most popular until the next new spot. Every time I have driven by, the parking lot is absolutely packed, so Hubby and I stopped in to see what the hype was about. Walk-On’s has a clean cool contemporary feel which is refreshing in this small town. The staff is attractive and very nice, but very inexperienced. The adorable servers don cute little cheerleader outfits which are quite short, but not inappropriate in my opinion as they’re no shorter than an actual high school cheerleader uniform… in fact, I wonder if they just loaded up a bunch of high school cheerleaders onto a bus for a field trip and then dropped them off at this restaurant to work. Many of them seemed to have no idea what they were doing. They were nice about it though. There was a wait for a table, which wasn’t a surprise, so we put our names in and headed for the bar which was evidently understaffed. The two young lady bartenders didn’t seem to have mastered efficiency in tackling several tickets at once, but they were trying and working really hard. It took quite a while to get a drink menu and then another bit of time to actually get the drink, but it was worth the wait. The Red Dragon martini was perfect. They never got around to giving us the bill or taking our card, so we dropped some cash when our table was ready. Note to self: remember to bring cash!!! Things took a dive when our table was ready. We were each given a complimentary hush puppy, a nice lagniappe touch, but they were fried much too long and I didn’t bother to finish eating mine. The menu didn’t do much for me, nothing looked spectacular, so we opted to share a safe meal, chicken strips with waffle fries. I don’t know if their fryer was broken or the fry cook was high(or, most likely, never stepped foot in a kitchen before), but the chicken strips appeared to be fried once, left to cool, and fried a second time. They were two different colors, a dark fried batter over a light fried batter. They were gross. The fries came out in three different shades from undercooked to over done. Sad sad potatoes. The martini was good enough to visit the bar on occasion but I have no interest in the food at all. I am giving the review three stars because I respect a friendly and content inexperienced staff more than crappy service due to lousy attitudes and complacency.

First time at Walk-Ons… Last time at Walk-Ons. When you have to ask for napkins three times, NEVER get silverware and you have to flag down a manager to see where your order is… You tend to not want to come back. Got there at 3:30 and by 4:30 we still didn’t have the 3 burgers we ordered. Good thing it wasn’t a complicated order. I guess we should have gone to Hooters instead.

3 stars only because the hush puppies and boudin balls were pretty good as well as most of the entrees. Asked the waitress if there were any«healthy» drinks like low cal or low sugar and got the«we have vodka» response from the bartender. Very rude. A «no ma’am we do not» would have been an appropriate response. Very disappointed with the customer service, would have been a great meal otherwise. Now I have a bitter taste in my mouth from the experience.

If your looking for a great place to catch a game and enjoy the stadium like atmosphere, than this is your place. Great food options, 70 beers on tap, 70+ TVs, friendly staff. Saints and LSU are the home teams here, but if you happen to be in from out of town they will accommodate you with whatever game you want to watch!

Just a short review: The food is great. I got a Shock Top for $ 2 during happy hour which is a plus. The regular price was $ 4 which isn’t bad for a restaurant. This is a new location so I think they’re still trying to work out some kinks. Our server was great and checked on us often, but it took forever for us to get our food. My sandwich came out wrong but was quicklu replaced with the correct sandwich. I had eaten my side dish by the time they brought my new sandwich and they added a complimentary order of fries with my sandwich which wasn’t the side dish I had ordered before(which I had already finished). That was pretty cool and was shared by everyone at the table. I’m not in Houma much, but I’ll eat here again I’m sure.

This was my first visit to a Walk On’s, a Louisiana sports bar chain. It was very nice. They have a great array of TV’s, plenty of draft beer selections and a nice menu. We sat at the bar as the wait for a table was more than 30 minutes. Service was very good. I tried a wrap and was very pleased with it.
