A Beautiful Floor

I recently worked with A Beautiful Floor to replace most of the flooring in my home, install baseboards, tile our kitchen island, re-​do all kitchen backsplashes, and add in some under cabinet lighting. Their prices were fair and all work was completed in about 7 days.
The subcontractors were professional, polite, and worked hard. A group of three handled the flooring removal/​laminate installation, another person worked on the tile and backsplashes, another helped with the baseboards, and yet another installed the carpeting in our two bedrooms and closets.
My single greatest frustration throughout the remodel was the lack of customer service from the «main office.» My partner and I paid for the project in full and really expected a bit more involvement from our contact. After dropping off our check, it took a few days to get anything scheduled. «Supervisors» rarely stopped to check in or monitor their subcontractor’s progress, there were clear miscommunications about materials, and our main contact within the company was out of pocket for the majority of the project. Our calls to the office were often met with, «Oh, he’s with a client.» or «Oh, that’s not my guy. — will have to call you back.» I do not recall an instance where a call was actually ever returned, either. My partner had to reach out repeatedly until our contact answered or showed up.
We had planned on remodeling our bathroom as well, but, frankly, we’re going to look elsewhere.
3 stars because the folks that did the work appear to have done it well.

I had my countertops and backsplash in my kitchen done by A Beautiful Floor. The work was done as scheduled and completed on time. The workmanship was excellent and I had no problems with the customer service.
I am in the process of getting my floors done in the entire house and believe I will get the same excellent experience. They have earned a repeat customer with me and I will definitely recommend them to my friends looking to remodel.
It was well worth it!

So I can’t tell you what the quality of their work is like. this has to be a review of their lack of customer service instead.
I stopped in and spoke to a David Phelps about coming to my house to remodel my kitchen. floors, cabinets, counter top, and drywall. I had a plumbing incident happen and my budget was what the insurance company would give me. (about 10k)
This place was exactly what I was looking for. A one stop shop that would give me a bid on doing it all. IF they had bothered to show up to the appointment. IF they had bothered to return my phone call to his cell phone or to the company answering machine. IF I had gotten even a small modicum of customer service or communication. But all I got was stood up and smaller paycheck when I left work early to be home for the appointment.
So I guess I should be glad they showed me their work ethic and customer service upfront instead of halfway thru the install.
I will never recommend someone with this kind of experience. Shame on you A Beautiful Floor.

Great job of installing carpet, engineered wood, and tile into my house for a very reasonable price. Could not have been happier with the experience.
