Called A1 at noon to install an indoor lock. Calvin arrived at 3. Professional and thorough.

I had a keypad lock that I needed keyed to match the other doors in my house and they did a perfect job. It’s a little old and dusty but you get a sense that you’re traveling back in time to a place when customer service trumped having a fancy store front.

This is my go to place to get my keys copied, which I need to do often because I misplace them weekly.
You really need to call ahead, because they do locksmith house calls as well, so it is likely that they will not be at the actual store.
The service is really friendly. I once had to wait longer than the sign said on the door, and the man offered to copy my key for free! They are really committed to making life-​long customers. Copying a key takes about 10 seconds and will cost you less than a cup of coffee.
I highly recommend them for any key type needs.

I hired A1 ABC to re-​key my house based on the reviews on Unilocal.They were prompt and we had an agreed price. It was $ 80 for the trip and first lock and $ 12.50 each to re-​key additional cylinder.
I have re-​keyed locks about a decade ago and I remember how difficult it was and I thought I was getting a fair price. Little did I know that I had a Kwikset smart key system that allows the user to re-​key easily.
A1 ABC made no mention of this smart-​key system and it took their tech less than 3 minutes re-​key my entire house (9 locks) and write me the bill. I was out $ 200 for service that would have been easy for me to perform (note I had all the tools too).
I’ll admit that I should have done my homework, but I felt they should have said something first. It happened so fast I could not even tell him to stop. I thought he was just checking all of my locks or getting them ready to re-​key.
The tech was nice and the price was agreed to by both. But buyer beware, do you homework and ask questions before hiring A1 ABC.

I needed some house keys made so thanks Unilocal for directing me to this place! I found the store no problem but there was a sign on the door that said back at 1 (at 1:20). I waited a few minutes and was actually just about to leave when the van pulled up.
The guy was extremely courteous and made 2 copies of each key quickly. Prices seemed reasonable to other places I’ve had keys made in the past. 5 stars. Quick, easy, painless, the way it should be.
As I was leaving, he changed the sign on the door to back at 3, so although I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place, definitely call before you show up to make sure someone will be there!

Broke a key off in a door lock. I brought the lock into ABC Lock, and within 2-​minutes they were able to extract the broken key piece and get the lock working. They were very thoughtful, and provided advice on re-​installing the lock, to make sure I didn’t have another problem with the mechanism.
I really appreciated the prompt and thoughtful service, and I definitely recommend them.

I called yesterday to ask about some Transponder keys being programmed. She asked if she could call me back when she found out about the costs. About an hour later she called back and informed me they could do it but it would cost much more than other options. She informed me of a cheaper place that I could have them programmed at. I am impressed. Because of her honesty I will be sending anyone I know of to A1 ABC Lock & Safe. You don’t find honesty like that often!

Called A1 to get locks replaced and keys made on my new home. They showed up exactly on time, quickly got the job done and even fixed a couple of loose knobs for free. The price is also very, very reasonable. This is a local business with solid customer service (unlike the big box stores). Def. recommend them.

I needed some keys re-​keyed and some deadbolts changed. Calvin was very responsive and professional and his prices are very reasonable for the level of service that he provides. He has been in business in the area for a very long time and I can see why. I would not hesitate to recommend A1 ABC’s services.

I had a complicated repair that involved 2 different houses. Both job were done perfectly even though this was all done on a day with a terrible thunderstorm.

I bought some original GM key blanks for my vintage corvette on the internet and wanted to have keys made. I have used Home Depot for keys before but often had problems and I didn’t want to chance ruining my original GM key blanks so I went to an actual locksmith (A1 ABC Lock & Safe). I assumed they would be much more expensive than Home Depot, but to my surprise it was only $ 1/​key to have the blanks cut. Maybe it would have been more if they were also supplying the blanks, but I thought the price was extremely reasonable. More importantly all of the keys worked perfectly! I will be using them for all new keys in the future. No more big box store keys for me!

i accidentally locked my car in the garage (it’s separate from the house) and these guys were out within 20 mins. $ 79 which i thought was reasonable. I asked him about prices to install new residential door handles along with rekeying– all very reasonably priced. Will call again in the future.

Came in to have some keys copied. Such a better option than a big home improvement store!!! Nice and close to my house and I walked in and he made the keys then I left! I didn’t have to track down a worker and then they don’t have the keys I need. I would much rather support a small local business anyway. I will be back next time I need more keys!

Excellent and friendly service. The price was reasonable, and they offered to give me a long strike plate for my door for free, which I promptly forgot about and just remembered as I started writing this review.

Not the first place I called but the price was competitive and the staff was friendly.
Knowledgeable staff asked all the appropriate questions and responded quickly. The quote and bill matched to a T.
