AAMCO is a nationwide company and say that you can stop in at any AAMCO and get service done. They are not lying, but it is not so black and white. The AAMCO up north did work on my truck, they did not do it all correctly, or to its completion as it should have been done… and it cost me a premium dollar. When I had an issue with the ac again here in TX, I stopped into this AAMCO for repairs. They stated that there was no notes about my repairs from up north in the system, they are not owned by the same franchise owner, and had to basically charge me full price for any work done. Even though I like both the office poeple at both AAMCO locations, the AAMCO company is a rip off. They charge way to much and I have never been happy with any of their services thus far. AAMCO as a whole, not a good idea unless you are desperate, like I was.

No issues. Its always painful to part with the cash for a transmission rebuild, but after 17 years my old, faithful steed needed some extra giddyup. Being somewhat familiar with cars(mostly early model classics) Larry took the time to introduce me to his builder who explained the procedure. Surprisingly, they gave me both the pros and the cons. I agreed to the repair and the work was completed on-schedule. Olé Blue hasn’t run this well in about 10 years.

Fast and painless. Took my car in for an AC issue, I was in and out within the hour. Larry the manager is very good on the customer service side. I will definitely be going back for future maintenance.
