Was very helpful with my problem. Turns out that there was none!!!
Saved me $ 200 and didn’t even charge me to look at my speakers.
I did however give him $ 20 so he can at least lunch.

A few months ago I was moping to a buddy of mine about having to buy a new set of speakers for my beloved mini-​combo (i.e. «The Little Stereo that Could»)… after nearly 10 years of valorous service, the foam seal around the speakers had given out, imparting a buzzing sound to the unit’s output.
While Mr. Allen’s shop deals mostly with higher end stuff (hi-​fi speakers that cost more than my monthly salary, big-​ass 4×12 cabs, etc), he did an awesome job on my two mini speaker cabs. The damage was a very reasonable $ 75 – the combo now sounds as good as it ever has.
This guy is a pro’s pro – courteous service and skill at the craft at a reasonable price.
