This small convenience grocery store is owned by an Arabic guy who offers some really interesting and unique items. Prices were reasonable considering it was a convenience store and some items like the cheeses or spices were not only a steal, but more authentic than the ones you’d find at HEB. Great place to stock your pantry for some Mediterranean cooking or snacks. There’s a refrigerated section in the back with tons of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dairy, including fresh sheep cheese, several varieties of blocked feta and halloumi, creamy cheese spreads, and yogurts. The back corner has a shelf stocked with bulk spices from a Lebanese manufacturer for very reasonable prices(the perfect place to stock up on allspice, cardamom, curry powder, cumin, rosemary, tamarind, or peppercorns; forewarning — some of the bottles are dusty so check the packaging dates). The aisles stock cooking ingredients, snacks, European chocolate bars(re: kinder bueno bars, mars, aero bars, bounty, cadbury, milka and the like), and interestingly enough, a whole section just for Sriracha. They accept credit and the owner is polite and friendly(I came pretty late, around 9:45 or so, and he told me to take my time as he wasn’t in a rush to close). Will definitely return if I’m in the area(make sure you try M&M grill next door!). The parking lot is really small and kinda sketch. You might easily miss it as you drive by on Almeda as the store sign sometimes is dimmed out.
