AM Cleaners & Alterations

Great service and my clothes is always dry clean right. I also get my alterations and always does a great job in altering my clothes. Been going to get my dry cleaning and clothes alter for years.

I like to look nice and sharp when I wear my clothes… plus it’s kind of a habit of mine to bring all of my work clothes to the cleaner’s…this place is decent… they have never damaged or lost any of my items… which is a big plus… but man… I’m getting tired of getting SHOCKED… every time I remove my items from the plastic… I’m pretty sure there’s something they can do to help prevent this… but they’re the professionals… and maybe shocking people is their thing… the main reason I keep going back to this establishment is because the people are so nice… and I can get pass getting shocked… you really start building up a tolerance to it… lol…plus if you go in there enough… they will learn your name… and make your stop at the cleaner’s a quick one.

Best alterations! I have been getting my pants, dresses, shorts, etc altered at this place since middle school. Reasonable prices and awesome job. They have even altered past homecoming, prom dresses, and bridesmaid dresses for me! Only alteration place I trust!

Desperate for a good dry cleaners with reasonable prices — and one that wouldn’t close after six months — I tried out AM Cleaners. I had some sewing work done, plus several items dry cleaned. I pointed out several areas that needed special attention. Results: Everything was clean, spots removed, repairs done to my satisfaction. They’re kind of tucked in the back of a shopping center, across the street from the library, next to the liquor store. Very happy with the results.
Update: As of March 2015, prices for alterations have risen. Unlined trousers: $ 10+tax. Plus, frankly, I’m tired of «grumpy» and unfriendly service. Providing a service to the public requires a little, tiny bit of positive attitude. It ain’t here.

I’m going to go ahead and bump AM Cleaners up one level for my recent experience.
I had dropped off several items including a black and white dress. I picked everything up, took it home and later noticed there was a note on the dress that said something like «Did not clean because the colors might run — ask customer if they still want it cleaned». So, the item had not been cleaned but I had been charged for it based on the ticket that was also attached. I had paid in cash and did not have a receipt so I was expecting a bit of a struggle with the management.
To my surprise I brought in the dress, ticket and note, explained what happened, and without even blinking she refunded my money. She said for some reason lately dark colors have been running so she was worried about the black part of the dress ruining the white part. Of course it was a slight nuisance to have to come back in and point out the mistake, but I ALWAYS appreciate good customer service and that’s what I got.
If you’re on the fence about AM, go give them a shot! They have fair prices and they value their customers.
