Had a great time! My brother and I got a Groupon for the Brewmaster Tour and it wound up including a baseball cap, glass, free tasting, free flight, and a free 16oz beer. Also discovered my new favorite beer– the shock top pretzel twist. SOGOOD. We had a great tour guide and an even better bartender, Dwayne. Overall fund day!

I signed up to do the brewery tour with my Meetup group. The brewery offers several different tours at the facility. We did the Brewmaster Tour. Our tour guides Christian and Duane were very knowledgeable on the history of Anheuser business and the beer making process. The tour was 90+minutes, and we toured part of the facility. We saw the control room, the giant vats they make the beer in, there was the bottling area and quality lab. My favorite was the bottling and packing area, it’s just amazing to see all they do by automation. The tour is $ 25, I do know some times they have special offers groupon etc and they do have cheaper tours that offer different parts of the Brewmaster tour. There is a tasting room which is basically a bar and also a gift shop so you can but Budweiser themed items. I’m not a beer drinker I was just going to be sociable and I really enjoyed the whole experience. We got to tap our beer from one of the giant vats of Bud Light. It tasted different from what you get in a bottle to me. If I could have one of those giant vats in my garage and could tap a glass of that everyday I think that would be heaven. It was very good. We did a beer tasting where we tasted 4 different types of beers and we also got a pint of whatever we wanted to drink. That’s where they cut us off… lol I enjoyed the flight except for the Stella Artois(sp?) was hard to get down. I did like the Ale the darkest one. For my pint I had the Blueberry Budweiser and I don’t know if that’s the name but it was good. I think it’s one that will sneek up on you. This is actually a great value, I got a cap, a beer glass and some ear plugs(required in the factory). This would be a great gift idea for the beer lover in your life, it could be a great team building opportunity(18 people max for the tour), it’s a great date idea or a place to bring out of town guest. You have to be 13 years of age to go on the tour. I plan on going again. You have to purchase the tour online and have a reservation. The tour guides were great.
