Wow! I am so thrilled to find out we had an Amore Store in Houston. Really it is a gem that I really wished I had found sooner. I have been using the AmorePacific line for 2 years now, but I would only buy things I reallly needed from the mall since the price is quite high. But it was always worth it, because the Koreans obviously know what they are doing when it comes to skincare, look at the girls in the soap operas! So when I needed a moisturizer, I really did not want to drop $ 100 so I started researching alternative Korean brands, that’s when I stumbled upon a forum and someone mentioned that we had this store in Houston. This store carries Sulwhasoo, IOPE, and Laniege items. In Korea, they do not have a line named AmorePacific but rather AmorePacific is the parents company that owns all these brands. Anyway, I was happy to find creams for $ 30-​$ 40, costs less than the Loccitane lotion I have been using. I also got the cushion compact for $ 40, which is twenty less than what I would pay for the AmoreP one from the mall. The store is very clean and the lady that helped me was really patient and sweet! She hooked me up with all these samples, even some for my husband and mother! It actually is a great idea for her to give me a ton of samples, I know I will be hooked and buying these things in full size. Just like I did with AmorePacific. Now I am so happy I can pay a fraction of the price and still get amazing products. You will basically be paying the same for skincare as you do for clinique, estee lauder, lancome etc but the quality and results of this brand is far better! Enjoy! And yes you can thank me later =)
Oh by the way, They are opened from 10 – 7 every day except Mondays (at least that’s what the website shows)

I honestly don’t know store hours. I feel that you just get lucky and come when there’s someone inside for you to come in and purchase something. When I went recently, they were closed Mondays.
When I was finally able to go here when their doors were open, there was one Korean lady inside. She said her name was Cindy. I felt that she was so nice! I had come with my mom so that I could show her some of the products they offered and Cindy was very informative and explained what the creams and face wash products were. She helped both my mom and I decide about which products we might have liked and didn’t hesitate to give us samples of the other products to try out. She would have given us more samples to try but she ran out. (Literally saw her go through all the drawers twice).
There is another Amore store located inside of H-​Mart but it has a much smaller selection.
The Unilocal location and the actual location are not the same however. It was confusing to me. But I knew exactly where the store was so I did not have difficulties finding it. The Amore store is across the street from H-​Mart. Long Point Road & Blalock Road.

I didn’t give this place a full five stars because although they SAY they’re open Monday 10 – 7, Tuesday Closed, Wednesday thru Saturday 10 – 7, and Sunday 1 – 7, they aren’t always at the store. They’re currently understaffed so they cannot keep the store open during the business hours they promise, so come at your own risk. I personally drove all the way down only to find out that there was no one there and there was a note/​sign indicating that you should go to H Mart across the street in the beauty section at the front of the store to look for some of the Amore Store’s products.
I ended up buying the Multi Cleanser and will buy the rest online. I’ve been to this place before when it was actually open during the business hours and the staff was nice but they pointed out my acne and pimples as expected, trying their best to suggest me products to help my acne. So for those of you with zits, be aware they will make your zits become even more obvious like you don’t already know you have them. But overall they mean well and are trying to help and they give samples (after you buy something of course).
Overall I will return to this store, only if it’s on my way home or on the way to some place since I don’t want to be disappointed in driving all the way to Memorial from Katy only to be disappointed that the store has no staff member and the store closed.
