Atlas Foundation

Contacted several foundation repair companies in the Houston area and ended up deciding on Atlas Foundation Repair. One of the issues pointed out to me by Atlas Foundation was that I had a possible sewer line leak. The repairman performing the test, Carlos Torres, was very professional and informative about what needed to be done to make my sewer system leak proof. We bought a house with an Atlas foundation warranty. During the inspection period, we learned that there were sewer leaks below the slab. The inspection company provided a quote to repair the pipes, but we wanted to get a second option, so the seller reached out to Atlas to see if they also performed with work, and they do! Shane Edwards is their master plumber and a stand-​up guy. He provided an initial estimate based on a sketch and photos, which was thousands less than the other shop had quoted. After we decided to go with Atlas, I met Shane at the house to review everything and ensure I understood what was going on. He carefully explained it all and made me comfortable with his expertise. After I added a few items to his scope of work (i.e. replace the hot water heater), he quickly sent me an updated proposal, and then got to work. Shane was attentive and kept us informed as the work progressed to let us know when we could expect it to be complete. After the bulk of the work was done, we pointed out that the mason did a sloppy job laying the bricks and that we wanted a small change to the drain pipe on the hot water heater. Shane quickly set about getting these corrected. Again, Atlas Foundation (and especially Shane) is a great bunch. I enjoyed working with them, and we use them for any future plumbing needs!
