Beverly is amazing! My friend and I ventured to Aveda for the first time for facials. Beverly was very knowledgeable and super attentive to our specific needs. She was patient and is the reason why we will contine to frequent Aveda. Our first time experience was fabulous.

ZEN Breath in the aromatherapy filled-air and you’re immediately transported to your happy place. That’s what happens to me whenever I walk into Aveda. I’ve been a fan of Aveda for many years. I’ve accumulated thousands of points so it’s always fun to come in and find the«gift» you earned. I love the samples and I picked up some rosemary shampoo and conditioner. A bright pink lipstick-sans chemicals, some hairspray, a brush, gel… I couldn’t stop, but I earned more points and had some herbal tea along with a hand massage. Friendly attentive service too:) It’s the only Aveda store in Houston, but you can find some products in the sprinkled Aveda salons around the city.

I love AVEDA products period. I hate having to come to the Galleria period. Why? Because I ended up shopping after leavening the AVEDA store and wishing I had more time and money. I came in to redeem my birthday certificate that I received from AVEDA. I like usual was warmly greeted by both associates and offered tea. They even offered some to my daughter, which made her feel apart of the AVEDA experience! I picked up more shampoo and before I even checked out I was offered a hand or neck massage. The associate tried a new product out on me and did a good job. She also told me about their monthly events. Great place and I need to go back to re-up on some of my face products! I just wish they weren’t pricey, but they’re great quality!

I love coming here! The employees here are so sweet and knowledgeable about the Aveda products. I have been using Aveda products for almost 2 years now, and i refuse to use anything else on my hair because i have really seen a difference. The salon i go to uses nothing but Aveda products and thats what really got me on board. I also take my stylist information to heart, and she is a huge fan of Aveda as well. I will be back once i start to get low on my products! :)

I love coming here because the service is so attentive. They offer you a herbal tea when you come and a little aveda refresher which can be a hand massage or aromatherapy. It was x-mas time so we passed on it but they advised us to come back as it was complimentary. The products are pricey but pretty good. If you sign up for their Aveda program you get a free bath product from their personal line on your birthday. Yeah!

Their products may be a little pricey but they work and and can really change your hair and body appeal(to yourself). This review is about the store visit. I had my 12 yr old step daughter with me at the Galleria doing back to school shopping. She made a comment that she really loves how my hair smells minty and clean for a very long time and how awesome the hotel room smelled while I was taking a shower — so for a back to school gift I wanted to treat her to the experience of products. I don’t mind the upselling or attempts to upsell other products but«no means no.» It didn’t seem this particular sales person really got that. It was also irritating that I was explained something to my stepdaughter about the hair products and the salesperson had NO clue what I was talking about and tried to derail the conversation. Seriously, it felt like I had walked onto a used car lot. I wanted to buy the regular sized shampoo and conditioner but the salesperson kept insisting that I buy the $ 32 bottles. I explained to her that I didn’t live with my step daughter and that I wanted her to try it before committing to a much larger bottle. Apparently to her that meant — keep trying you have almost made a sale. To me that meant either buy the regular sized stuff now and get out or abandon the shopping idea all together. I quickly went to the register to check out with the smaller bottles but felt deflated because I wasn’t able to actually enjoy my time in the store. I couldn’t and walk my step daughter around and show her various products I love. While checking out she continued trying to sell other things and it just became too much. I told my step daughter if she wants more I will buy it at my salon in Austin and bring it to her instead of going through that experience again. I would rather drive between Austin & Houston to deliver products than to walk back in this place and be run over by sales people.

I’m only writing a review based on my experience at the Aveda store — not the actual product. The associate was extremely pushy — to the extent of stalking me through the store. I politely told her I was just looking for the time being and even told her that I would let her know if I needed her help. She still would not leave me alone and insisted on showing me all the different products she wanted me to buy. I HATE when sales associates refuse to respect boundaries. If you as the customer relay to the sales person that you want to be left alone, they should respect that. I finally told her which shampoo I decided on,(Shampure) and she proceeded directly to the register — but not without first asking me to try the hand cream and trying to push a massage on me. I don’t think I could have been any clearer. And guess what — when I got home, she gave me a conditioner instead of the shampoo. So now I had gone through all that ridiculousness without even getting the product I asked for. My experience was so poor that I refuse to go back — I do not like pushy sales people, and this is the reason I refuse to return. The store gets two gold stars for cleanliness and presentation. Three deductions for the annoying and unprofessional sales associate. Happy news though — there’s an Aveda salon right around the corner from my office and THEY were fantastic. I asked for the Shampure, she gave me the Shampure — she asked if I needed anything else, I said no. Sale was complete, and I left a happy customer. As such, I will return for all future Aveda purchases.

I went to the Aveda store yesterday because I have been out of the Scalp Benefits Conditioner and am almost out of the shampoo. Nothing has been able to soothe my flaky scalp since a friend suggested the Scalp Benefits. After I ran out of the conditioner, my irritated dry scalp returned, hence my making a beeline to the Aveda store. The visit was magical. The sales associate is the nicest, most personable and helpful Aveda associate alive(believe me, I’ve had some snarky Aveda ppl cross my path). When I walked in, she gave me space to browse the products before I even asked my first question, «what would you recommend for someone with the world’s driest skin?‘ She informatively replied that she recommended a gel mask and a tourmaline infused cream. She then offered me an herbal tea. She also recommended a hand cream which she massaged gently onto my hand. I felt so pampered. Aveda Store Galleria deserves 5 stores just for this sales associate and her loving and caring aura alone!
