I enjoy this bar immensely. My favorite part of it is the Wednesday night tango in the back room. We love going to grab an early meal, glass of wine and watching or dancing tango. Its a lot of fun and very romantic.

This place is so amazing. bartender was really cool and friendly and gave us a bit of history of the wine bar area that was created for the owners wife. Great place for date night. I didnt try any of the coffee or wine but I will next time.

I gave it five because a similar and seemingly more popular location is on the same block. When we walked into the ‘meeting place’ next door there was no welcome or consideration much like you might expect out of a coffee shop. Right around the corner was a lovely place with same offers and a much more chill atmosphere. It has places that are well lit for study, dimly lit and comfortable fire more intimate and conversational outings, and a Dan e floor for this so inclined. I’m including a picture of my favorite spot. Free WIFI!

I have a friends who love this place, specifically for the very attentive staff. HOWEVER the location is not conducive to lingering, which I really like to do at a coffee shop. The seating isn’t very cozy … I cannot hide-out in any corner. Drinks are pretty alright!

The real benefit of this place is there are generally empty tables during peak times, unlike more popular coffee shops nearby. I actually like the atmosphere as well and the selection of wine… but as other reviewers have said, many members of the staff leaves much to be desired(Not the bus boys though, who are awesome!) Example: Once, the WiFi wasn’t working and when I inquired, the guy behind the counter said it was probably my computer’s issue and made no motion to check it out. After checking with two other patrons whose internet was also down, I asked again and I got an even snappier response. Turns out, thirty minutes later, wasn’t my computer’s issue. Not a place for going out/see and be seen, but a good spot for studying, friend date, etc etc

What’s more fun than a glass of wine + studying outside on a Tuesday night?! Honestly… Probably a lot of stuff. But Bacchus made my night fun. :) My friend and I were just in town for a few nights before an exam and we were looking for a nice place to study outside. The owner was super warm&loving and let me try my wine before getting it. Loved it!

Great wine bar in a lovely & peaceful décor. Felt like I walked in to a Mediterranean bistro. Both people that were working were great & quite funny. An extra gold star for the beautiful outdoor patio. The parking is only available on the street which is probably the only downfall. Went here on a Sunday afternoon right after brunch. I wasn’t in the mood for wine so I chose to order a few mimosas, just what I needed. They have beer & coffees as well. Light menu with snacks, salads, sandwiches & pizza. The prices were pretty decent & are competitive for a comparable business. They seem to have good daily specials, I’ll need to go in to take advantage of them in the future! It was quiet when I went with a group of 6 friends mostly people studying or working on their laptops but I’ve heard it gets loud on a Saturday night. Overall, welcoming setting that I will be back to in the future!

The atmosphere at Bacchus is more suitable for a coffee and to get some work done. But when the neighborhood bars and restaurants are busy on the weekend this is a nice retreat for a glass of vino. We stopped in for a glass of wine one evening and a cup a coffee the following morning. The service was very friendly and the staff greeted several guests by name. Jesse was pleased they had an IPA and I was content with their malbec. The coffee is illy which smells amazing but a tad bitter for my taste. They also sell a small selection of pastries and fruit. Seating consists of an inviting patio, comfortable couches, a few small tables and a bar. Tip: there is a $ 5 minimum to pay with a credit card.

This place has a real cozy vibe. I would seriously consider grabbing a book and enjoying a glass of wine here on a rainy day. I actually came here on a rainy Friday afternoon(sans book) to kill time before I met up with friends. I knew I wanted to try the wine. When I entered, there was music playing. Patrons were on their laptops or conversing quietly. I chose to sit at the bar and asked the guy standing there to recommend a good red. Though he admitted he really didn’t know, he showed me a bottle that he said many patrons ask for. It ended up being a Malbec from Le Domaines Paul Mas, which I love. I was a little disappointed that it ended up not being one of the wines on special(I think it’s $ 1 off on Fridays), but he poured me a generous sip and it was absolutely delicious. I think $ 10/glass is a bit much, but hey, when the wine is good, it’s more than worth it. Since I’m in the area a lot, I’ll definitely be back for that Malbec; but, I would love to try one of their whites.
