Good place if you are only interested in playing billiards. There are plenty of tables, and its only $ 5 a person. Place seems to be a little behind on it’s times as far as the bar goes. I don’t go to many pool halls, but I feel that having draft beer is almost a necessity. It pains me to spend almost $ 5 for a bottle of beer, but you’re paying for atmosphere I suppose. The place has a few options for food, but they seemed like precooked things you would find in a frozen food section like chicken nuggets. The music playing comes from a jukebox and was sort of disruptive when playing. One moment it’s quiet, then the next moment We Dem Boyz starts blasting, and then from that it suddenly transitions to Country. I probably would have given this place 4 stars if the server who was helping us didn’t seem so put out when we asked questions or ordered something.

A decent venue if you’re into shooting pool… I came here to play in a free poker invitational tournament. Easily accessible off of I-45, Barney’s is well stocked with many pool tables, the requisite bar with some bar bites, and a jukebox. Not the most modern of pool halls, but it more than does well by its patrons.
