Just went back and they are up to the same old stuff again… 1– The cones are left out in the open air all day long making them stale and losing the freshness they should have. They should be in a closed container to maintain freshness. 2– I don’t know if there is an issue with the refrigeration, but the ice cream seems to be melted when you look at the top of the containers which changes the structure of the ice cream making it taste and look a little different. The cones have been left out to the open air again and the most of the ice cream in the box looked liked it had been melted and then frozen again. SMH. It’s not that hard!

I usually like Baskin Robbins until I had a horrible experience last time I went. I ordered the 31 below and when I tasted a bite of it, it tasted funky. Something wasn’t right with the taste and my husband also had a taste of it and agreed. When I told the employees about it they refused to exchange it for another flavor. I had literally had one bite and when they«tasted» it they said they didn’t taste anything wrong with it. If I wanted another item I would have to pay… That wasn’t going to happen. So I had to sit there and share my husbands cup of ice cream while I was throwing mine away. Will not go to this location again which is unfortunate because it so close. Please work on customer service. If an item has gone bad the customer definitely should get another item to replace it or at least a refund.

I have never actually gotten regular ice cream from here but I do stop by their pre-made cakes section quite often. It is really close to my office and when I want to give bring a gift to a birthday or general get to get together, I like to step it up and do an ice cream cake. They also offer cold bags, so that the ice cream does not melt by the time you get there. The have a wide variety of sizes and flavors. It has always been a hit when I bring one of their ice cream cakes.

Listen. I get that I’m a grown adult, but not having clown-cones ready to go is a god damn deal breaker for me. I’ll keep getting mine at the River Oaks location.

We love our neighborhood Baskin Robbins. I walk over here with my daughter at least once a month for an ice cream cone. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, and the ice cream never leaves anything to be desired. BOTTOMLINE: Best place for Ice Cream in Oak Forest.

Baskin Robbins is hands down the best ice cream and all of their flavors wonderful. I’ve been to this location and everyone’s always really nice and the location is clean. It is the perfect occupant for this location, across from the school and the library. My only complaint is with some of the kids working there. I called to order a cake and the two kids working there at literally argued with each other trying to get the other to take my phone order for several minutes until the one who answered the phone sighed dramatically and took my order. It really was irritating, but I guess I understand that writing is hard and talking to grown-ups is hard too. Still, I’ll be back because it’s Baskin Robbins and I’ve never had anything but good service in the past. Guessing the closing shift on a weekday isn’t the top choice for their star performers, maybe.
