Our waiter was very knowledgable about the menu. He went over almost all of the items with details. The staff was attentive. Each member checked on us periodically. Portion size was enormous. Could really make 2 meals out of the order. Would go back to try other items.

This has to be one of the best food places in all of Houston. The service was phenomenal, the ambiance was great and the food was out of this world. I had the shrimp gumbo and a Po-Boy sandwich. I forgot the name of it, but it had chicken wrapped in bacon. Total orgasm in my mouth. I will be back again and again and again!

The food was great! I had an awesome and huge salad with shrimp and a delicious margarita. The prices were also very reasonable($ 12 for the salad which is great for something with sea food). The place is really small, which I think means the kitchen is also small because our food did take a little bit of time. Max table size is 4 person so I would not advise for larger groups unless you are carrying out.

Ordered the gumbo(chicken and sausage) and crawfish quesadilla. They give you ALOT of food. The gumbo was yummy and spicy. The sausage was yummy and there was just enough spice. Not so good the next day so eat what you can and dump the rest. The crawfish quesadillas were just ok. I can tell they serve drunk kids because tons of cheese and grease is exactly what you want after a night of drinking so if you can’t find a food truck but you’re near this joint, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. However, if you haven’t been binge drinking, the quesadilla is just really really heavy and there’s not much taste to it(just a lot of cheese and grease). They do give you some dipping sauces. The green one was spicy and pretty good. This place isn’t the best I’ve been to so if you’re not nearby, it’s not worth a trek. But if you are nearby, it’s not bad especially since it’s open late.

The food here is pretty good, especially for somewhere that’s opened 24⁄7 Order the tex-cajun fries! HUGE portion of fries with cheese and beef on top. Love the«Wake & Bake» burger. Bacon & a fried egg in a burger? Yes, please! Their crawfish is better than most cajun style crawfish that I’ve tried in the area. It’s on the spicy side so beware. The only real downside is the wait for food. Waited about an hour, so I wouldn’t come here if you’re super hungry. Other than that everything else was great!

I came here on Mother’s Day after realizing my husband didn’t make reservations at an upscale restaurant. It’s a small cozy little café & It’s main customer base is probably people coming in with a hangover. The Food was ok, it looked amazing but just fell short. What really makes this place a 3 star instead of 4 or 5 is because the service is so slow!!! It took close to 45 mins just to get our food. I more than likely won’t come back but being an egg Benny fan it was nice to try something different.

This location is very small with a few tables but it is perfect for pickup. We ordered a bunch of separate orders for pick up and I was very impressed that every order was perfect and they threw in enough sauces for us! Staff here is very customer focused and accommodating. I was really impressed! I’m not a Houston native so I am not really caught up in the Cajun craze but the food here is great! The shrimp platter is HUGE!!! I shared it with my guy friend and we were both full. It comes with big, juicy shrimp, French fries and garlic bread(diet killer). Someone ordered bread pudding. It was a bit weird with the meringue on top. It was missing cinnamon and nutmeg. Overall, they will probably get more business from us!

BB’s Poboy’s are my favorite in Houston! They use French bread for their Poboy’s they way it’s suppose to be made unlike others that use hoggie’s which should be against the law! I love the shrimp since they use a traditional spicy corn meal batter. This places rocks!

I’ve been here so often since my first review. I care more about the food and company than being on my phone, so I forget that I even had a review on here. xD Today, I passed by the new BB’s location coming up in Pearland and it’s safe to say that I’m super excited to have a closer location to home! I then remembered about my review from over a year ago. I think it’s safe to say that it’s due for an update. This is my go-to place for those late night hunger feels. If I want something to eat after other restaurants usually close, I can count on BB’s being open for sure, especially now that this location is open 24hr. My favorite is still the Tex-Cajun Virgin fries– I’ve always got room for the fries. I feel that the poboys are a bit pricey for a PO’boy– still DELICIOUS though! I usually come in on random afternoons or around 8PM-11PM in the evening after classes. Never on weekends though… the wait times can get a it crazy and parking is very limited, but the location is cozy. As kind as the staff is, the service is still a bit slow at night, but what’s waiting an extra 10 minutes for yummy food?

Despite the folks eating crawfish with gloves on, this joint wasn’t too shabby. Got a salad and some queso. If my fat ass wasn’t on a diet, I’d of tried ½ the menu because I miss New Orleans.

I’m officially done with this location. I ordered to-go because there was absolutely no parking, even on the surrounding streets. The hostess told me 45 minutes. I walked in at exactly 45 minutes. I was told another 10 minutes. Well another 15, still no food and now it’s almost completely empty in the building. Now it seems as if they can’t find my order, after I paid for it. The last time I was here, they got my order wrong, and instead of just correcting their mistake, I had to pay the difference. Update: another 2 – 3 more minutes. I ordered at 10:32. It’s 11:40.

This location is small small small! There’s only about 5 tables inside and a few two seaters outside. Go to the white oak location for groups. No bar either — just beer and wine(and frozen drink machines that have been broken the last 2 times I went). This is our go to for crawfish since we can walk there. I personally like their style where they also coat the exterior of the crawfish with the seasoning. The crawfish were HUGE for the time of year, came out piping hot and were full of juice. I’ve taken away a star because of their new policy of not including any corn/potatoes(but they didn’t lower their prices). I understand you want to save produce but why not just ask people if they want it first? I can’t comment on their other food items since I never do anything but craw dads. The crawfish are some of my favorite in Houston! Perfect amount of medium heat and an awesome seasoning blend. They also coat the corn and potatoes with it as well! Right now they are going for about 7.85 a lb I believe.

5 stars for the crawfish and 1 star for the overall experience, equals 3 stars. 1 star only because we did not realize just how microscopic this place is… like maybe 20 tables. We had to sit outside on the«patio»(sidewalk with tables) and people chain smoked and hung around all over you while they were waiting for their table — basically right over your food. It was kind of gross. The waitstaff was really nice and friendly, just understaffed. I think we waited ~10 min just for water and menus. I would go here again if we could sit inside, the crawfish was really good!

After my usual Wednesday night bikes rides, my friends and I like to chow down. We picked BB’s for the most recent occasion. I really wish we hadn’t. Parking here kind of sucks but luckily I was able to snag a spot in the lot. There’s a few other restaurants close by so you’ll have to fight for street parking with other patrons. For a party of 10, we were seated quickly. Our waiter was patient enough and brought out waters for us as we were getting settled. I wouldn’t say that the restaurant was super busy or anything. It was well past 10 pm when we arrived. We made our orders for appetizers and drinks first then entrees shortly after. I and 2 others had settled on burgers. After waiting a good while, we had to ask where the appetizers were. The other end of the table had their much more complicated appetizers well before, despite putting in the order at the same time. Chips and queso shouldn’t take more than 15 minutes tops. But they did. Then we were informed they could no longer make our burgers. So I chose to order the SMALL order of the fried shrimp instead. NOPE! The waiter decided for me that I wanted the larger order. Pretty sure I know what I’m able to eat. My friend gabe also ordered hush puppies as his appetizer, he didn’t get it until after everyone had already gotten their appetizers. He had actually finished his entrée already. Not sure if their kitchen just sucks and is extremely slow and inefficient but they need to step it up. Honestly, I definitely felt that their service left much to be desired. When I say I want a small I don’t mean a large.

My boyfriend an I went to BB’s after a concert and we were pleasantly surprised. When we first got there, we stood around kind of awkwardly waiting for someone to help us. When we were finally greeted, it took awhile to be seated because even at midnight it was still really busy. When we sat down, we ordered the crawfish and it was so good! The server showed my boyfriend, a first time crawfish eater, how to peel the crawfish which was super nice!

I ate there with family two days ago and the food is still on my mind. The gumbo is so delicious that it bears repeating! The gumbo is so delicious! We also split the bread pudding, which by far was the best we have ever had. Cannot recommend this place enough.

We had great service from the moment we walked in. We enjoyed a great appetizer called loaded Pollo bullets which were awesome! We then moved on to our crawfish. They were big with great seasoning! The owner Carlos came by each table to make sure everything was taken care of and were satisfied. I would recommend the Abita Rita as well.

I have been here a few times but not a place I would ever rush back too… I find the food to be be just Okay but nothing over the top. On my last visit I had the«Tuesday Special» and is was pretty much a big mess. The chicken was over cooked and the crème sauce was lumpy and somewhat bland… The server was friendly, but the service was very slow… Not sure l’ll be back anytime soon…

The one-star review for this particular BB’s location is reflective of, for the most part, the quality of service received here on a late Friday night. Food-wise, BB’s is solid. I’m not sure if it was the late-night munchies in me that night, but the Roast Beef Po’ Boy is a good and fulfilling meal. Nothing to hit home about but nothing to criticize, but it’s something I’d gladly eat again. On the customer service side, however, «lackluster» would be a massive understatement of this place. Sure, they were a bit understaffed around midnight, but there was absolutely no reason for us to wait well over an hour and a half for our food to arrive, and spent a total of about two and a half hours at this place. Especially since there were only two other parties eating here, and both had already been served their food. Moreover, the waiter thought it’d be a great idea to lie to our table on numerous occasions about why the food was taking so long in an otherwise empty restaurant, saying how busy he was doing other tasks he wouldn’t otherwise have to do, due fewer employees on duty. Unless he was the chef, the host, the waiter, the bartender, and the bouncer all at the same time – which he clearly was not – the deceptiveness of our waiter was more insulting than the aggravating wait time it took to receive our food. Although the waiter is usually never to blame for a delay in food service, he only added fuel to the fire by not being upfront nor apologizing about the situation. BB’s is still a solid restaurant, and I’ve been to other locations and never had any service problems. Again, maybe it was that particular night, with that particular waiter, at this particular restaurant, and I can give them the benefit of the doubt on having a straight up bad night. Regardless, it gave me a terrible first impression of what the BB’s chain has to offer, and I will not be returning to this location. Hopefully this serves as a forewarning to anyone wanting to roll in here for a late-night snack. :)

Let me just say, I’m writing this review as I’m eating my delicious left overs(texcajun fries)…so I might be biased. Honestly, they have the best burger I have ever had in a VERY long time. I tried the wake & bake burger and it might be one of, if not, the best burger I’ve had. The bacon was super thick and it came with two types of cheeses, a special sauce plus the egg. I think what did it in was the breading… it’s on some type of seeded sweet bun, absolutely delicious. My friend had the half & half po boy and it was enough for two. The texcajun fries taste great as well! I will say, I’ve probably had better loaded fries before, but the sauces are what makes this different than the usual. The serving is definitely enough for two, but that won’t stop me. In terms of service, there were more workers then people dining and it took awhile for someone to notice our group despite this location being extremely small. I actually thought it was counter service at first because it took so long. Once someone came, our waitress was very attentive and nice.

I have no idea why it took me so long to finally try BBs. My husband raves about the location on Richmond, he goes there for lunch. We finally stopped in to try our neighborhood BBs and I was surprised just how good the po-boy was. I had the half po-boy and gumbo combo. The half po-boy was massive, no way I could ever devour a whole po-boy. The gumbo was loaded with shrimp, I had one in every single bite. Quite impressive. The service was friendly and parking was easy. I will be back for sure!

Quick tips: No frills on the inside, but if you are looking for a late night non fast-food fix, come in for a shrimp po’ boy! They are open 24 hours! Food: Did I mention how good the shrimp po boy is. My one issue is I wish they stuffed it more like they do in New Orleans. All my shrimp actually fit on my po’ boy! Also the chicken fajita po’boy,(yes I said that right) was also delicious and a fun fix of NOLA and Tex-Mex. Ambiance: No frills, divey type bar setting. Fairly small dining space. Service: Casual, friendly service.

When visiting Houston we had a list of a few different foods we wanted to get, and cajun was pretty high on the list. I know it’s no NOLA, but hey when you live in New England good cajun food is pretty hard to come by. Unilocal app in hand, dinner time came around and the search for cajun food nearby began, which lead us to BBs… and we were not disapointed! A cute little spot in a residential area, the outside was dressed up to look like the French Quarter. End up getting half a shrimp po boy and gumbo and it was so delicious! The staff was really friendly as well. Would definetly recommend stopping in!

I used to frequent this establishment when it first opened. This visit was not as good as my previous experiences. Don’t get me wrong here, the food was tasty and well presented but not of the cajun creole fare I grew to appreciate here. The sandwich I ordered was tastily prepared and served well. The timing on the meal was superb. A good experience by not what I was wanting. I do recommend this place, especially for late night dining in the Montrose.

Came here with a buddy who is a Houston native. The weather has been awesome during my trip so we sat outside. It’s less of a patio and more just a few tables on the sidewalk. This was my first time trying Boudin Balls and they were amazing!!! The grillades and grits were also really good. The waiter recommended the Mac and cheese, so I got a small portion of the Mac n cheese and a small portion of the grillades. I wish I had just gotten a large portion of them because the mac n cheese was just ok. The bread pudding is also phenomenal!!!

I hadn’t eaten here in several years. No particular reason why. I remember it being good food. It happens to be very near a couple of other restaurants I like(Niko’s and Riva’s) and perhaps I would think of them when hungry. Last week I remembered BB’s and stopped by. Parking hasn’t changed as it has very few parking places. Luckily I snagged one in front of the restaurant. That evening I asked for their Bedtime on the Bayou which is their shrimp pro boy. The waiter asked me if I wanted French fries as they cost extra. I remembered them being good too, so I said yes. The food arrived about 10 minutes later. The po boy was large, well dressed with nice fried shrimp on very good bread. I really enjoyed it(4). It is one of the better po boys in Houston in my opinion. I remember the fries of old as being shoe string type. These weren’t as thin but I thought they were still very good(4). They were properly salted and fried. It was a very good meal and I will be back sooner for my next meal. My table service was good. Midnight Masterpiece is their roast beef po boy and it is a 4 also. Very good. Fries here are an extra $ 2 but worth it. Large serving and good(3.5),

The food was pretty good, but the service wasn’t that great. I’m not sure what the name of our server was, but one of the ladies had to help us out… And the locking mechanism in the women’s restroom wasn’t that sturdy either. I had someone trying to force their way into the restroom while I was in there, only for the party next to the restroom to tell them I was in there. It didn’t seem pretty safe.
