After the birth of my son, I cleaned out the closet. I took a very large quantity of clothing and shoes in to B’Dazzled. The woman who helped me was very friendly. I was elated to find a local consignment shop. I’ve consigned for years but this was my first time since arriving to Houston. Long story short… the woman who took my items put the wrong expiration date on my receipt/agreement form. A month before that date, I called to check on the progress of the sale of my items. They said that I was way passed due and that only a few items sold and that they weren’t responsible for paying me for those items because I was past due. I explained to them that I was working off of the form they gave me and they said, «well obviously a mistake was made». They said they’d try to find some of my pieces that they had already removed from the sales floor to take to charity. They did recover some. I was never paid for what sold not was I given an account for the numerous items that were neither recovered not sold. Seems sketchy and dishonest!

If you are thinking to consign your items to this shop, think twice. Here is my experience with this shop owner. I consigned several Herve Leger dresses to her. After a few months, I found out 3 of my dresses were sold and decided to pull the rest and closed my account. My contract with her stipulated that 40% of proceeds from sale of my items were due me one month after closure of account. However, the owner repeatedly used all sort of lies and excuses not to pay me. Days passed, then weeks then month. My husband and I finally ran out of patience and decided to confront the owner face to face. We were determined to get paid even if we had to camp in this shop. When we finally faced her, she was angry and tried to intimidate us by saying she knew some local business owner within my community. We found that comment to be childish and hilarious. We did manage to get a check out of her for the money that she owed us, but it could not have achieved without our persistence. This owner is dishonest and deceitful and her business practice conduct is unethical. I have also reported her to the Better Business Bureau. I hope this writing can prevent anyone from becoming her victims in the future. So, if you consider consigning your items to her, you have been warned.

Visited the past week. Didn’t find anything I couldn’t live without. Cute place but just not my style of clothing… would be a great place for my mom or grandma to shop.

This was my first stop in a series of five consignment stores during my recent visit to Houston. It was by far the best of the lot. B’Dazzled has a wonderful selection of formal and cocktail attire, along with accessories and outerwear. Their prices were amazing, and I didn’t feel guilty at the end of my shopping spree. I found exactly what I was looking for and customer service was excellent. Christy you rock!

Just visited B’Dazzled for the first time on my quest to explore the Houston consignment boutiques & thrift stores that abound. B’Dazzled was the first stop on my weekend tour, and actually one of the best. B’Dazzled carries a variety of labels & sizes, and has a good mix of casual to dressy wares, plus accessories and some knick-knacks. I found a surprising number of dresses that I not only liked, but were in my size & budget! Ultimately, I walked out with one, but will probably be back for the other one(prices go down if something stays in the store for more than a month, so good deals are to be had!). Only negatives were that parking isn’t great – you can park in the driveway or on the adjacent street, and that the dressing room is the bathroom(it’s a converted house). Overall, this was a good experience. Much better quality selection than the thrift stores, and not as overpriced as some of the fancier consignment stores(though they definitely have some fancy brands in stock). I will definitely be back!
