I frequent Harwin quite often, and happened to stop by this place about a year ago. The jewelry was quite beautiful and the prices were pretty great too ($ 15 – 30)
Since the jewelry is made in-​store, I was a bit concerned about how well they would stand up but was re-​assured by the owner that if we ever had any problems we could just bring it back and have it fixed for free.
A few weeks later, I finally took the tag off the clasp, and in the process the clasp came off. I headed over to the shop to get it fixed and was quoted a price of $ 40. Wait… 1) I was told repairs would be free when I purchased it 2) Your asking me to pay more than original cost of the necklace?
I tried explaining to the employees and managers, that the OWNER told me the repairs were free but they said that it was under new ownership and they wouldn’t fix it. Well… I had to bring out my inner hood-​chick until they finally agreed to replace the necklace.
I decided to come back a couple months later, and I can see the new ownership is not working well. The same jewelry is now 2x-​3x the price, and the employees are ignorant and rude. A lady followed me the entire time as I was browsing, as if I were going to steal. She kept yelling out the prices of items as I touched them, and reminding me they were not half-​off. Look lady, I see the price-​tag.
Definitely will not be back.
