First of all, I went to see her because she was in-network and I was desperate since I was in so much pain and need immediate relief. I called and she said she was could see me right away. Her office smelled like old socks and was so disheveled! Then she sat me down for a «consultation»… and recommended treatments. I’m sitting there for almost an hour listening to her babble about her years of experience and all of her accomplishments.(who cares! I’m in pain…) So then after all that, she walks me over to another room and lays me down on this bed that she ran some rollers.(She laid a dirty towel down… I kid you not! The towel had brown stains on it. I was in so much pain from a pinch nerve or something that I was just trying to get this over with.) She then had me lay on the ground afterwards, which I thought was dirty and smelly as well. The whole thing was just too weird and I couldn’t get over how dirty her office was. Of course, at this point I’m still in pain and she tells me it’ll be at least another 4 – 5 sessions before I’ll feel relief. I walk out to pay for the visit and guess what? She wants to charge me $ 125. I told her that she’s in network and that it was only supposed to be $ 35. She then told me that she normally charges $ 250 but because it’s in network she will only charge me $ 125 and if she’s wrong, she will refund the difference. Then she doesn’t even know how to put me into her system and says she’ll figure it out later so I have no record of the visit besides my credit card receipt. Guess what? She never filed the claim and I called my insurance and they said if she collected all upfront, she does not have to file a claim. What a bitch!!! I called her about it again after waiting 90 days for her to file the claim and she acts like she doesn’t have a clue what i’m talking about. Now she won’t return my calls. What’s sad is that I was in so much pain that I felt the need to go see another chiropractor that same afternoon and got immediate relief!!!
