I love going here after eating at Quan Yin next door. This is your run-of-the-mill foot massage parlor in Chinatown with extra perks similar to JL Luxurious Foot Spa. They really work for their money here. The foot massage also includes a shirtless back massage on a massage table and you get a water bottle at the end(instead of a measly cup). Really good value. One of the masseuses hands smell like cigarette though. Gross!

This place is another $ 20 for one hour foot reflexology. It’s located in the same corner as Teletron and Apple Dentists. It used to be called«Blue Crystal Reflexology» but has been renamed«LZ Foot Spa». The inside is not fancy or incredibly spa-like like other places. It’s family owned and has more of a Chinese-Homey type feel(and smell, lol) to it, with home supplies stored in odd little corners and random fruit vine décor hanging from the ceiling. It seems to be family run as well with an older Chinese mother and father couple who ran the front of the store, and their son, who was the masseuse. The massage itself was not bad. I don’t feel like a million bucks, but definitely feel way better and less sore than when I first walked in. The masseuse/son was very humble and very sweet. He caught me off guard when he actually asked me if it was okay for him to massage the face(I had light makeup on from work). Pretty thoughtful. His massage strength was pretty good too so a lot of my knots are now gone! The only thing I didn’t like about my experience was that during part of my session, his parents kept coming in and whispering to him, asking him where things were inside the store. It was cute bc it reminded me of my parents… But then and again I was still a customer trying to relax… and my concentration kept getting broken. His massage style uses finger popping as well, which I’m not too big a fan of. I tried to tell him that, but there was miscommunication from underneath the spa towel that was on top of my face. Lol. Also, I was hoping for the type of chair that already had the hole up top like mentioned in the previous review, so all I had to do was flip and wouldn’t have to move rooms when it came time to massage my back(where have those gone?! Are they extinct now?!)… But sadly they have moved away from that too, and I still had to move rooms :’(. Oh well. At least I got a whole regular sized bottle of water at the end as I was paying, and not a little baby half-bottle like at other reflexology places! So yay for that!

Yet another foot massage place among the many already existing along Bellaire Blvd. This place is able to stand out because unlike others, it accepts credit cards. Also, they have special reclining chairs that also have a hole up top so when it comes time to work on your back, you can just stay in one place and flip over. At other places along Bellaire, they all have the reclining chair, but when it comes time to work on your back they tend to take you into another room to get on a standard massage table. It’s not really a big deal, but it is a detail that sets this place apart. Oh, and they have at least one person here who actually speaks English, which is a plus if you want to tailor your experience. As for the experience, it’s pretty standard. There were no special techniques that particularly impressed me. While the massage was relaxing, I didn’t leave tingling like I have at other foot massage places. Everyone’s preferences are different so if you’re into the foot massage scene, I advocate going up and down the strip to find a place you like. This place is worth checking out. $ 20 for a hour foot massage. $ 40 for an hour body massage.
