The selection is very limited. There are so many bikes and accessories they do not have and what they have is over priced. I had several repairs done there because it was close to home, like right around the corner. That was a big mistake. I went back on every one of the repairs, because something failed. I go across town now to a shop that I’ve used forever and don’t have to keep going back for the same repair.

Awesome place! The lady at the front is always so nice and patient whether its answering questions or showing me products. Very good rates on repairs and a high range of selection. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Best bike shop in the east end? That’s a stretch… How about the best bike shop in Houston !! JD is the best, not only does he answer all my questions he also doesn’t make me feel like an idiot for asking. This shop is a God sent I have lived in the east end all my life and always wanted a bike shop that I could go to with out feeling like I wasn’t cool enough to go in like some of the others in town. Ill always go there and I’ll refer anybody who asks.

After my Unilocal review, Blue Line called me several times and replaced my tires. I am happy that they corrected the situation.

I had a camping trip coming up and needed to tuneup my Trek 4700 and a Haro V1VGF before hitting the trails. The Trek had a bad rusty chain that would skip gears and the Haro had a bent rim from a nasty fall. The last place I took it to didn’t do a good job. I spoke with Dale at Blue Line Bike Lab about my upcoming trip. I explained to him that I had some young teenage girls that would be using the bikes and I needed the bikes to be inspected for safety. Dale explained to me what was needed and what to expect. He called me up a few days later to pick up the bikes. I show up at Blue Line Bike Lab and Dale made sure the bikes were in tip top shape. He replaced the chains on both bikes, inspected the brakes and gear system plus straightened out the rim on the Haro. $ 62 Total. I was extremely pleased with his work and professionalism. I hope more people support small businesses like this in the East End. I drove all the way from Clear Lake to support them and will continue to do so, so long as I receive the same customer service and great value in return. Thanks Blue Line!

I got my bike taken care of quickly and less than an hour before closing on a Saturday night. Darrel(or maybe it was Dale or David?) was very knowledgeable and friendly.

BESTBIKESHOPINHOUSTON! Was about to give up but finally a Clean, Organized and Uncluttered bike shop with an honest passion for riding. Beard guy(sorry forgot name), was the most helpful person I’ve ever met in a bike shop. Completely blew me away revamping an old mountain bike of mine. Will be coming back

I like this bike shop other then the expensive bikes these people know what there doing. I had issues with my bike they helped me resolve it. Comes to find out the bike i bought ONLINE was too big/uncomfortable riding and i had ordered another bike my size. The people from blue line helped me put air in my tired, put new handle bars. They give there honest opinion for your bike. I suggest to come here if you have questions abt your bike or just need help. these people are passionate with what they do.

Bikes are expensive for not much of a selection if you ask me; on top of that I never can catch this place when it is open since I work. I mean the place closes at 6pm; latest 7pm and closed on Mondays. WEAK. A lot of the bikes seem generic to me; I wanted to check out some bigger BMX bikes but didnt get to much info about what they offered. I can see what others meant by the employee’s being«rude». Everytime I went I showed up 10 minutes before close or so; I felt rushed. Oh well. Also I had a BMX bike that needed a part; when I called the store I was told basically I was going to have a hard time finding this part since no one really carries those parts. I went to some old\generic bike store in the HOOD; Enriques Bike Shop or something and the guy fixed me right up. Seems like these guys dont want to deal with you unless you come in looking like Lance Armstrong or know exactly what you want and have the right amount of money.

I have a hard time believing all of these reviews are positive experiences with this location. Admittedly I have only gone there 2 times and both in which for a repair. I dealt with the bike tech who was VERYRUDE both times. I told him that I myself was looking into getting into riding soon abd would need a bike and rack. Did any helpful info come from him? Nope! Just lots of attitude and criticism about my girlfriend’s bike. I was checking out bikes on the rack to which he walked past be barking out $ 700 and giving me this look as if I couldn’t afford it. Made me kind of laugh to just how much of a jerk he was. Once back in the car, my father who had accompanied me commented he would never return there if he had to deal with him. On my 2nd visit I was hoping I had just caught him on a bad day. This time I brought my girlfriend who needed some tire work done. Was he any nicer? Nope, just was rude again making passing comments about the condition of my girlfriend’s bike. I went in with the intention of buying a saris rack but my girlfriend upon hearing his comments whispered for me «to not spend a dime here.» I will not go back, I will not recommend this place. As long as he works there, I will never be a customer. I am big on loyalty. I use the same mechanic I have for years, I have used the same maid service and distribution companies for my business for years. I believe in building relationships in business. They didn’t just lose a bike, rack and helmet sale, the lost the maintenance, and customer recommendations that would have come for years.

Been a fan of blue line for a good long while. I like their selection and always found their staff to be friendly without being overbearing. A ton of mid to high end bikes and the biggest selection of helmets I’ve seen in town without going to a big box store. They’ve kept my current ride going linger than it should have for sure.

Best shop in the East End! The original bike lab in the Heights is really cool, but dang, they really knocked it out of the park with this location: great selection of bikes, accessories, service… all good stuff!

I love this new bike place in the Eastend. Great location, and the service is awesome. The guy that helped me did not BS me around. I have liked them on Facebook and have encouraged everyone to hit this place for their biking needs. I will be a repeat customer. Thank you Blue Line Bike Lab EASTEND!

Went here for a tune-up not too long ago and had a positive experience. I do agree that it is nice to finally have a bike shop in this area. Workshop Houston is a little inconvenient because of their schedule. I only talked with one guy on their staff and he was helpful and courteous. The prices there are about par for any bike shop in Houston, but nothing is too outrageous. If you live in the area and are a cyclist(casual, commuter, etc.) Blue Line Bike Lab should be the ideal place for bike work. I’ll update after a few more trips there.
