So I bought a Groupon for this business on or around 2÷3÷2014. I booked the appointment online for a wrap and dry brushing session again within that same week of purchase. Now be mindful that my appointment was for 3÷13÷2014 at 4:45pm. I called this business several times before my appointment just to get a feel as to what I should bring, wear, etc. No one ever answered the phone rather I was instructed to leave a voicemail, and never received a return phone call. No biggy as I assumed they were that busy. I just asked around and spoke to a few folks that had been wrapped before. Ok so I arrive at the location for my appointment at 4:40pm. Yes the business is not easy to locate as there is no awning or huge sign, but once I walked around the lot I did eventually end up locating the business. Time now 4:42pm. The door was locked… lights off… no one in or around the facility. Now as you can imagine how confused I must be. As I am still minutes early to my appointment, but there is no one in sight. I called the business and you already know what luck I had previously being able to speak to someone. So I waited… and waited… and waited. Then I asked a gentleman at the boxing gym for the time so that I could compare times to see whether I was off, but sure enough my time was faster than his which means that I may have been there earlier than my initial time of 4:40pm. I still have yet to receive a return phone call to reschedule or someone offering an explanation as to what happened. I’m sorry but this is not how a business is supposed to be run. There was no sign on the door indicating that they would be closing early either. I am sorry but first impressions mean a lot and this was a disappointment.

I bought a Groupon for this body wrap because my husband’s company Christmas party is tonight and it is Great Gatsby-themed and my costume I rented from Frankel’s is pretty tight. I thought the body wrap might help make it a little less tight. I made an appointment for 10:00 a.m. today, Saturday 12÷7÷13. The business has moved so the address on the actual Groupon is the incorrect address; they should probably fix that. In any case, I had visited their website and did receive a confirmation email confirming my appointment and I noticed that there was a different address. Fine. I arrived at 2643 Winrock at 9:58 a.m. It is a dilapidated strip center with a large pothole-ridden parking lot. I circled around and around the parking lot of the strip center and did not see Body Wrap Express. I exited the strip center thinking maybe it was the wrong location? I drove down Winrock and all there were was apartments. I u-turned and went back to the strip center. I was utterly confused. I sat there in the parking lot and googled their number and tried calling TWICE and there was NOANSWER. Finally as I was about to just give up and leave someone called me from Body Wrap Express. She said we’re right here next to the eyeglass place. I looked at the eyeglass place’s large sign. I looked to right of it and to the left of it and did not see any sign identifying Body Wrap Express. Finally I got out of my car and approached the building and could see there was some white lettering on a door next to the eyeglass place but it is not visible from the street or from the parking lot. I arrived. It was 10:06 or 10:07. I was telling her about how hard it was to find, etc, etc and we were talking about how each suite in the strip center has it’s own individual address instead of a suite number and I felt kinda dumb. Me feeling dumb went away pretty quickly. The woman at the desk told me I was late and I would have to reschedule my appointment. I thought she had to be kidding me. HUH? You have no sign and don’t answer the phone. She kept saying didn’t you receive your confirmation emails? I said yes, I received your confirmation emails but they do not mention the fact that you have no sign and don’t ever answer your phone. She said couldn’t answer it because she had been helping customers. Um, I’m a customer. I needed your help. I couldn’t find your shitty business.(I didn’t say that though, I stayed calm and didn’t cuss or anything; I’m just getting pumped as I type this). She kept calling me «sweetie» as we were arguing which only infuriated me more.(SERVICEINDUSTRY — do NOT call me sweetie. I am not your effing sweetie. I don’t even know you. It’s so condescending and rude.) Anyway after we’d been arguing for 3 minutes or so she said look you’re ten minutes late and just kept repeating herself about the stupid confirmation emails. I WASNOTTENMINUTESLATE. FIRSTOFALLWEHAVEBEENTALKING/ARGUING FORTHELAST3OR4MINUTES; I WALKEDINAT10:05/10:06. SECONDOFALLIFYOUHAD A SIGNANDANSWEREDYOURPHONE I WOULDHAVEWALKEDINTHEDOORONTIME. I ARRIVEDONTIME. I will update my review later with pictures of the strip center and you tell me if you can see where Body Wrap Express is located.(I promise, you won’t be able to). I’m sure the owner will write some ridiculous response to this review blaming me for this which is just another example of this being a bad business with no customer service skills whatsoever. If I can give them ZERO stars I would! I bought a body wrap thru Groupon. I scheduled my appointment for Saturday morning got a call 20 minutes before the appointment to let me know they had to cancel due to an emergency and that a manager would call me Monday to reschedule… Come Monday, Tuesday and no call… I Called no answer left a message. I NEVER got a call back. So I scheduled my appointment on line and that one got canceled… Scheduled another one and that one got canceled for the same lame excuse… I’m not buying it. It’s very unprofessional and inexcusable for them to re schedule an appointment so many times. Save your money!. I’m asking for Groupon to refund me. And to make sure never to let them on Groupon again.

I had my first body wrap here so I have nothing to compare my experience to. I bought a $ 139 for $ 39 groupon for a body contouring wrap with dry brushing. Make sure to bring a dry pair of undergarments if you schedule an appointment for this! This place is located on the third floor of an old office building on Richmond. When I got there, I filled out a form. The lady that did my dry brushing and wrap was nice but I think that was the only good thing about my experience here. I thought the dry brushing would exfoliate my skin but she just brushed my skin with a hair brush with soft bristles twice. I don’t know if I believe the benefits of body wraps. After the body wrap, I didn’t feel or look any different. I lost 6.9 inches total but I’m not sure how accurate the measurements before and after were. She wrapped me with ace bandages soaked in a liquid she claimed would detoxify my body. I then put on a black jumpsuit and sat in a meditation room for 30 minutes with my phone. The room was very cold and being in a wet jumpsuit did not help. After my 30 minutes were up, she removed the bandages and let me change. She told me to relax for the rest of the day and drink plenty of water. I’m supposed to avoid coffee, tea, alcohol, and fatty fried foods for 2 weeks and should also continue to lose inches for 3 to 4 days. I bought a groupon for my sister as well but I will not be getting another body wrap. It’s not for me but I’m giving this place 1 star because there is no zero star option and for the service. I felt very comfortable and welcome here.

This place is absolutely top notch! Before visiting today, I knew very little about body wraps and was a bit nervous about the process. I purchased a Groupon deal, so I decided to take a risk and try it out. Needless to say, the owner Ashley and her staff were such warm and welcoming professionals. They made me feel at ease and comfortable. The environment is also incredibly relaxing and quiet. After the session, I was given a detailed consultation about how I can maintain the results I achieved from the body wrap(high water intake, no alcohol for 24 hours, etc). The staff really gave me so much personal attention and seemed to want each client to achieve their wellness goals. I lost 9.1 inches and felt so energized after the wrap session as well. Though I am moving in a few weeks, I definitely plan to get another body wrap at Body Wrap Express when I visit Houston.

I went here after purchasing a grouping deal for 3 body wraps! They gave me VIP treatment and for my last 2 wraps I added the infrared blanket which feels amazing! I lost 7.5 inches on my 3rd wrap! All the ladies there are wonderful and treat you like an old friend. Can’t say enough great things! I have bought a membership here now too, which includes a free wrap each month with unlimited add ons! Other places have memberships you can purchase, but they don’t include as much great stuff!

Started coming about 3 weeks ago and love this place! Ashley is awesome, a real sweetheart. The atmosphere is great and so are the prices. Best part… results are lasting. First visit wrapped my stomach only and lost 3 inches… did a full body wrap today and lost 10 inches. I’ll be back next week. Look out for the Groupon deals.

I have been looking for a place to get a body wrap for awhile since I have moved to Houston. I called a few places but didn’t get a friendly feeling. I am all about customer service! The minute I called Body Wrap Express I knew just by the friendly voice that answered the phone that this was the place for me. Ashely had a smile on her face as soon as myself and another lady came in. The salon is nice and neat with a calming environment with soothing music. I have had body wraps before, but if you are a first timer she walks you through each step professionally and friendly. Oh and the body wrap was amazing!!! I lost 13.5 inches in the first one. I am excited to try the heated one next week!!! The pricing is very reasonable! I can’t wait to lose(leave) many more inches at this salon.
