If you are looking for quality lights and beautiful vintage items, look no further than Brown. Jill has a fabulous shop with a lot of beautiful things. Jill goes out of her way to help the customers. We purchased two beautiful floor lamps from her. I definitely recommend shopping from here and supporting our neighborhood small stores.

My husband and I went to Brown to look at lamps. They have a beautiful selection of lighting and vases, plus a few small home décor items. However, the prices are exorbitant. I looked at a couple lamps but they were $ 900‑1200 each. There is a small sale section in the back where I saw lamps for slightly less, but they were not what I was looking for and still more than I wanted to spend. While the saleswoman was friendly, I also got the feeling that she was watching me. Maybe we are younger or were less nicely dressed than the usual clientele? If you are looking for antique lighting/décor and have money to spend, this is your place.

What a delight! Beautiful finds and treasures from all over the world. My friend and I did an impromptu visit to Brown and met the owner Jill who flies to Belgium, France, Italy, to find antiques for her store. I feel like this is what Restoration Hardware wants to be, however Brown has the real deal. If you’re looking for Thomas Edison lightbulbs, exquiste Murano/Venetian chandliers, unique antiques this is the place. Everything is well laid out — she also has modern, minimalistic lighting/lamps as well. I would go here for finding one-of-a-kind lighting and décor. She also has books, candles, and other neat stuff.

Visit often, Brown is a surprising shop of new and fresh finds. Heirloom quality chandeliers share space with lights by designer Jill Brown. The day I visited— I found amazing cards, hand-crafted candles, and an incredible selection of light bulbs only found at brown, and Cece Caldwell Paints. Everyone at Brown is smart and nice! Find it first at Brown— great whimsical quality products.

Wow! It’s Pricey Brown to me — where else is it $ 1500 for a basic chandelier? I respect the beauty and the craftmanship… but the only things I could afford were the $ 6 lemon soaps! Also very stuffy and hot inside. Not my cup of tea, could be delightful finds for you!
