I’ve been going to Bs Braids for almost 10 years also my daughter has been going since she was a little girl and the only person does my hair is Kadi! I’ve had no problems with my braids and I always get compliments every time I get them done. Yeah you might be in the shop for a while but that means they take their time and do it right!

I went to this braid shop to get some Senegalese twists after another braider canceled on me. I just needed to find a shop close to my house and so I found B’s online. The shop was clean and I got seated and they started my twists right away despite me being 30 minutes late for my appointment. I asked them not to braid my edges too tight as I didn’t want my hairline to be murdered. She said the process would only take 4 hours and that was a relief considering the original person who was supposed to braid my hair said it would take 9 hours over a two-day period. The twists came out BEAUTIFUL! I loved them!!! BUT they ignored my request and braided my edges and the rest of my hair very tight. You could literally see my hair pulling at the root. Another mistake was that I got them down to my butt. That’s a big no no. Although stylish and great looking, it’s pretty unrealistic if u want to function a normal life. I couldn’t sleep comfortably, I couldn’t workout, I couldn’t bend over to tie my shoe or pick something up off the floor without feeling like I was going to fall over and I couldn’t even put them up into a ponytail. I finally got them up by tying them with a scarf and it felt like I was carrying a huge bowl of fruit on my head. All in all, I only kept the twists for 3 days and when I took them out, my head was full of sores and scabs and I had breakage on my hairline. The ladies at B’s were very sweet and did a great job but if you’re going to get your hair braided there, SPEAKUP! Tell them exactly what you want. And if they are braiding too tight, let them know. Don’t let them break your hair over lack of communication. And also, get something realistic length-wise. Did I mention that I paid $ 250? Senegalese twist range from $ 180-$ 250 depending on length. And it took 6 hours, not 4.
