I am visiting Houston for work and chose this barber based on the previous Unilocal comments. Everyone there was very friendly, and the lady was the one who cut my hair. I received the worst haircut of my life. I’m actually embarrassed to go out in public looking like this. She used a straight razor to shave the back of my neck and then around my ears. She had the chair facing away from the mirror so I couldn’t see what she was doing. She shaved large circles around my ears. My head is completely bald down to the skin about ½″ to ¾ of an inch all the way around and above my ears. So my hair is dark and thick everywhere else except for these ridiculous bald spots above my ears. There is no way to fix this other than shaving my head. I can’t wait for a few weeks from now when I can get it fixed at another barbershop.

Alrighty guys, here is your old fashioned barber shop experience. You remember these places. Not only do you get a haircut and shave, but of course all the extras: A few old newspapers and magazines for while you wait, but, mostly, great conversation about just about anything! Politics, taxes, cars, hunting, you name it, it’s been covered here before. And really, how much better is a $ 25 haircut at the mall? I’ll tell you: zero. This $ 10 cut is as good as any, and, better than most! Whether you get your cut from Carrol, who’s one of the founders obviously and a super good guy and professional cutter, or Warren the son of the other founder with many years of experience or Arlinda, the cutest one of them all, of course I’m sure you’ll leave with a cut that you like, and enough money to go have a decent lunch, or three beers! I personally like to have Arlinda do my cut, because face it, if someones going to have thier fingers in your hair, they might as well be a cute chick with blonde hair, no? However, if you want to talk cars or mountain climbing, wait for Warren, and, well there’s always a couple of people waiting for Carrol, so he must be doing something right too! Tell them the«Alarm Man» sent you, and they’re sure to treat you right! Remember, they’re closed on Sunday and Monday, but, you should be sneaking off from work to get this done anyway!
