Great food, ordering was fast and easy, the vegetables bar was the greatest, basically you can add your own toppings, fries were a little cold, but all in all awesome experience

The burgers are four-star, all the way. But don’t get the iced tea(instant, nasty stuff). And do NOT go to the bathroom. Ewwww. But the burgers are tasty. And we liked the condiment/veggie bar for dressing the burgers. Simple place. Great for a quick lunch. Not great for a potty break.

First time here and I didn’t actually try their burgers. I tried the shrimp. Lol. I wouldn’t recommend the shrimp. Place is also very unclean. Currently looking at a roach under our table. Bathroom stinks! Didn’t even want to wash my hands in there. It was so bad. I won’t come back to even try the burgers. Barf. How do they pass health inspections!!!

Very good burger! Bread is slightly toasted and cool little salad bar for your fixings. Suggest the double patty, patties are a little on the thin side but none the less very good!

Doesn’t look like much but this place made a pretty good burger. The patty had a nice charbroiled taste and with a buttered toasted bun. Although, They need to use bigger slices of cheese or include 2 slices per order because it didn’t cover the entire burger.

We were staying close to Hobby Airport and decided to try this place out! The service was good and the food was very very good. I do like their fixings bar that allows you to customize your burger to taste. We would recommend this hamburger joint!

Service was fast and for a good price too. The fries were crinkled cut and delicious! The burger was great and cooked to perfection. Being new to Houston I can say I was not disappointed!

Great food, good sized portions and the burger tasted just like homemade. Add your«fixins» from the fresh produce bar for the perfect non burger chain burger. Not the coolest(temperature wise) restaurant in the area but well worth the price. Visited today for the first time and planning on lunch there tomorrow. Reasonably quick as they are made to order and cooked just like you order it. They also offer wheat buns and other meats like chicken for the non-red meat eaters. The crinkle cut fries were fresh, plentiful and tasty! Stop in and try it you will leave a happy camper!

I love a hole in the wall. My family is not a fan of chain or mass produced. We grew up with nothing and enjoyed everything about learning from those around you instead of what those tell you. I will let you know this go and enjoy… because I am going to tell you… this is a 5 item menu and you just have to chill. Absolutely NOTHING fancy about this joint. No service. No intimacy. hahaha LINEISOUTTHEDOORFOR2HOURSEVERYDAY. WHY? Because the freaking burgers are $ 5 with tots/fries and a drink and they are all exceptional like you are at a tail gate party with your buddies in the middle of a park and you have to leave it up to yourself to make it your own. Seriously. It is just about the burger. If you make it more than that that is on you. It is not misleading as to why the line is down the sidewalk. Parking is plentiful and full of potholes. This place is tucked into a strip center with a pawn shop. You are hoping your hands are cleaner coming out of the restroom than when you went in. But you know I grew up in the Barrio and you know it is a whiff of a childhood to see 5 things on the build your own burger bar and one of them is PICODEGALLOLOLOLOL. Hilarious. If you have one take away from this… it is patience because the line is long and one person will park and the other 15 will come walk up in line in front of you and know that if you get the fries over the TOTS you are insane. Crispy outsides and squishy insides with mustard. As my best friend text to meet me and then corrected my text because I mispelled something… I said«look Bitch you are interrupting my tot experience it is just not about you right now» LOL so then he called and showed up laughing… we know a potato in my world trumps all else. Oh and you might have to wipe down your own table haha

Stopped in here mid-afternoon today. The menu was well laid out and had all the basics, plus some extras. The man who took our order was super nice. We waited less than 10 minutes for our order number to be called. You can order extra stuff added to your burger like avocado, cheese, bacon, grilled onions, etc. They have a toppings bar with mayo, mustard, ketchup, lettuce leaves, sliced tomatoes, sliced onions, shredded lettuce, pickles, pico de gallo, salsa, and jalapeños. My ½ lb burger on a delicious homemade bun was topped with avocado, lettuce, tomato, onion, pico de gallo, mayo, and ketchup. I subbed onion rings for the fries. My husband had the turkey burger with lettuce, tomato, pickles, pico de gallo, and mustard. He subbed jalapeño poppers for his fries. Both substitutions were only 50 cents. The burgers were delicious, toppings were nice and fresh, and the sides were good and plentiful. Overall, one of the best burger places I’ve been to.

Great place for a home style type burger. They were quick and friendly. Meat was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. They have a toppings bar which was perfect because I love loads of jalapeños and ketchup. All the veggies very fresh and nothing looked like it had been sitting out. Low price point So it was also a great value. They serve crinkle style fries which I like and they weren’t greasy.

Wanted a burger, turned the corner & this place was in my face, so I went for it. Had the cheeseburger combo. This place uses a pretty good bun. It’s more on the Kaiser roll end vs. regular white bun, buttered nicely & placed on the grill. The patty was a good thickness & had a good flavor. Here they lay out the veggies & condiments, so you can go for it! I liked the fact they had pico de gallo & jalepenos. Burger flavor overall was ok. I didn’t really care for the fries. Just seemed to be the regular crinkle fries from the grocery story with a lil season salt vs. plain white salt. Service was quick & friendly. I was there during prime lunch time & they kept the orders moving. It was ok for under $ 8, but nothing I’m dying to get back to either.

Not bad! Good sized burgers and reasonable prices. Definitely not the type of place for ambiance, but who cares if the food is good! My favorite kind of place to eat, just a bare bones simplistic«hole-in-the-wall» with very good food. Myself and my co-worker will be returning

Very Good Non Chain Burger Joint The Pros — Good home-style Burger, Strong Value The Disappointment — Nothing of consequence The Details — Sick and tired of paying way too much for a non-chain restaurant burger? Tired of the same old high fructose corn syrup laden McWopperJackinThe Whatta Burger? Then this little hole in the wall is just what you ordered! Bounced in here for weekday lunch and was treated to a tasty bargain. $ 6.75 got me a third pound burger, fries and a drink — topped by a nice«fixin’s» bar. Good, cheap eats — enough said.

You might be surprised after you walk into this dilapidated end cap of a strip center. The business next door is closed so you will never have problems finding a parking place, not even during a lunch rush. When you walk in to the right will be a counter where you will view a chalk boarded menu high atop a wall and under to the left is a cheerful cashier that will be glad to help you with any questions. You order, take your drink that has a little«sticky note» number attached to your styrofoam cup and wait. Soon you are called your number and from there you preceed to go to the open condiments bar for your hamburger which has the usual lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, jalapenos, ketchup, etc. The floor is cemented so you will not have to worry about any ugly stained carpet to look at while you eat. There are about 3 or 4 flat screens placed through out the place for your viewing pleasure while you eat. I was curious about the Korean bobogi burger(or however it is spelled) and the cashier explained it as a sweet Teryaki. She was right, it was not bad but I should have stuck with ordering a burger. The meat was not juicy but not tough. The fries even if bought from a Sam’s or Costco wholesale was still cooked in a manner where the outside was very crunchy and the inside was soft and fluffy. The kitchen is guided most likely by the owner or the family being an older Asian lady there most likely of Korean decent. What I find nice is that is the driving force of the cooking back there and one will feel relieved that your hamburger is cooked in a decent fashion without worrying if something bad was put in your food. No pimple faced high school burger flipping or horse playing around your food here. Now for the best part, the bun of the food. It is devine, I would describe it as the consistency of a croissant shaped into a round burger bun. It’s very soft, a tad chewy like a croissant oh and so good. I am very sure that the next time I am here I will order the burger and will be very pleased with it. Burgers are not only sold here, they have fried mushrooms and other things if you get dragged here and do not want a burger. And update will soon follow. ====================================== Tips to new Unilocalers: If you get on the Unilocal site on a regular computer, you will be surprised to find a «talk» forum where you will see a good amount of us regulars talking about many topics that you may find interesting and want to join in, give it a try!
