These people are dishonest(break things and don’t tell you) and then when you try to make a claim they only want to pay you 60 cents per pound– meaning if your missing stuff isn’t heavy(waterford crystal) you’re getting nothing. Also took a big chunk out of my wall, pointed it out when they were still there and then they denied that they did it. I thought by paying more I’d have no problems but have used several other less expensive movers and they were so much more careful and paid 100 percent of the cost to replace a damaged item.

Please disregard my last review of 5 stars written by Jenny L. That was before we finished both our moves. My opinion has changed drastically since the final move… We used them for storage &2 moves within the same year. First move went ok. The moving crew was hardworking yet still went a few hours overtime. Our stuff was stored for a couple of months until the final move. When I went to pick up the chandeliers in storage on the day that the electrician was scheduled to install them(which I had arranged with Kim WEEKS in advance), many of the essential parts that are needed to hook it up were missing. When I called to ask where these parts were, no one would get back to me for days and the installation had to be cancelled. For the second move, a different moving crew came. Sratched our new wood floors, damaged our furniture(broke a chair and several knobs that are irreplaceable), broke our curtain rods. We filed a claim and after numerous emails and 2 months later, they had the audacity to send me a check for $ 12(yes, twelve) to cover the $ 900 worth of damages. This is the most insulting and unprofessional gesture they could have made. Even if I had bought the insurance, with the cost of the insurance and the deductible, I would pay $ 1000 anyway, so it makes no sense to buy it. If this company had an ounce of integrity, they would offer to at least replace the MISSING parts of the chandelier. But no such luck. They are sadly just in it for the profit with no moral character. They should be reported to the BBB for their unethical behavior.
