This is the deli in the 1919 building where I work. The staff is super friendly. I eat here about 3 – 4 times a week. All of the food is freshly prepared and most of it is homemade. I love their baked chicken, fried fish and rice, lentil soup and their veggie sandwiches. They have a daily plate for $ 5 and it is a very generous helping of whatever hot food they have for the day. The breakfast is pretty good too. I love their bacon, egg, cheese and potato taco for $ 1.89. Much better than any fast food place. They sell different varieties of beverages, chips, snacks and even sell lotto! If you are ever in this building and need a quick bite, don’t hesitate to try Café 2000!
