The boiled crawfish here is the truth, pricey but consistently large and tasty. I’ve been coming here for years and will continue. I don’t like the price but I can contest that the boiled seafood is mmmmmm good, nope excellent.

Let me keep it real. The customer service is piss poor. The restrooms… well let just say you better go to the CVS next door or hold it! The menu and overall decorations are completed outdated. BUTTHEFOODISNOTHINGBUTSATISFYINGANDDELICIOUS! THECRAWFISHARESPICYANDALWAYS A NICESIZE! Once you place your order and eat, everything else will be forgotten(kinda). Hidden Gem for sure.

I’ve been coming to Cajun corner ever since I was a child, and I am still coming back for more! It is still the beginning of crawfish season and they had live crawfish for 7.99 a pound and frozen for 5.99 a pound. I got 2 pounds of the live and oh boy I will be back for my crawfish crave! Such good size and great flavor. My brothers got the shrimp po-boy and gumbo. I tried both and both were delicious! Po-boy came with fries which were of course good as well. The owner was very nice, he came by our table and talked to us. Very friendly. Brought us a bowl of melted butter, and all the condiments for the crawfish and po-boy Inside décor is the same way it has been for over 8 years nothing fancy but who needs a fancy place to eat crawfish? I will be returning shortly for more of my crawfish cravings :)

Very disappointed with this Cajun Corner. The restaurant advertises Cajun food,(mostly specializing in crawfish), and a few Vietnamese foods. The glass windows have«Bun Bo Hue» and«Phở» in large print, and I was really craving vietnamese food, but we had just eaten at Hu Tu Mi a couple days ago, so we thought we would switch it up by trying Cajun Corner. The atmosphere of the restaurant was casual, picnic-style tables with large rolls of paper towels for each table, adding to its crawfish statement. The various other decorations include a large tv, a shoddy prize claw machine which looks to be several decades outdated, and some common small Asian decorations. A large sign above the counter says in bold letters«ORDERHERE», and since no one bothered to even look at us when we walked in, we walked towards the counter. There were large menus plastered onto cardboard, all written, and upon closer inspection it seemed that they served some Chinese food as well. The restaurant was empty except for the two owners. An old man(maybe late 50s or so) who sat at one of the picnic tables watching TV and glued to his laptop. He didn’t so much as look up from his laptop the entire time. The other person was an older lady, probably around the same age, behind the counter who didn’t bother to look at us either. Eventually, we decided we were ready to order, but when asked about the Phở and Bun Bo Hue, the man very aggressively told us that they don’t serve vietnamese food. Specifically, he rose from his seat, asked us what we wanted, and said«NO. NOVIETNAMESEFOOD.» And then headed back to his seat. Big turn off right there. My group decided we’d go back to Hu Tu Mi. Needless to say this place left a terrible first impression and we will never, ever go here again. I don’t care how good they claim their crawfish is. You don’t advertise in big font and then say you don’t serve what you’re advertising. I guess that’s what we get for trying non Cajun food at a so-called Cajun restaurant, but we were hopeful. Wrongfully so. Overall: False advertisement. Rude staff who were aloof and unfriendly. Poor atmosphere, you’d be better off eating elsewhere. Seriously, get better service and the food you expect from any place but here.

This was the most disgusting place to eat ever! I DONOTRECOMMENDATALL. Extremely poor service. The table next to us had a bag full of trash on it. And the food was gross! And not to mention how expensive it was for shitty service & food. Never ever again. Do not go here.

Their clams are DELICIOUS! I enjoy eating white rice with my crawfish/clams and the white rice was delicious, and perfectly cooked. Not to dry and not to watery. Crawfish was yummy — tons of garlic my favorite! Only reason I rated a 4 is, because the crawfish was a bit on the small/medium size

REDDDDDHOTTTTT!!! Today I ordered 3lb of spicy crawfish ½ pound(15) spicy boiled shrimp, 3 corn 2 potatoes also spicy and a shrimp po boy!!! It was a little pricey but WORTHIT! Let’s start with the crawfish: the seasoning was perfect not salty not bland good and spicy you can tell they don’t just slap seasoning on top or put and sauces they actually boil the mud bugs in the seasoning and chances are let them soak as well because you taste every dang pepper on the crawfish tail they include melted butter on the side they don’t charge like other places I had little to no small muddies they were mostly large and jumbo bugs, big enough to where you can eat the claw meat which was sweet similar to crab meat, they were fresh& juicy very good!!! New Orleans is a second home for me and when I say these were close I mean really close too close to good olé Louisiana Cajun crawfish! The shrimp were nice sized very juicy spicy and sweet cooked right so the texture was good it wasn’t rubbery it was fresh! The corn and potatoes were really good I LOVE corn it’s the best part! It was definitely spicy lol it was sweet the potatoes were cooked well it was soft like I like them but not too soft to where they fall apart and it helped not really lol with the spice! The shrimp po boy was good the bread was a little to toasted for my liking well it was just to toasted so I took the bread halves and ate them like toast with a touch of tater! The shrimp were fried well wasn’t too crispy and dried out and wasn’t soggy the veggies(lettuce, tomato) was fresh I could’ve used a little more Tatar sauce but it was enough to get the job done! Overall good good food 1 of the best parts was dripping the crawfish tails in the boiled spice juice which took the spice and heat way up!!! I recommend this place it’s really worth it! The customer service was good the man that works the cash register helped me to my car by carrying the bags and wished me a good day. If you want quality food come here!

One of my crawfish spots!!! So so good! I always order to go because the tables look a little raunchy, plus I don’t want a house fan blowing in my face. Lol yeah they are a little hood. But the food is great and so are the prices.

Crawfish is really fresh and tasty. Good size as well. Only reason i did not rate it all 5 was the price. They are def a little higher in price than most. I paid $ 8.25 for cravin, most places now are $ 6.99.

The food is not really excellent but the quality of service is extremely poor. All they care is the money you pay. If you have money to pay first, they’ll talk to you really nice. Got there one day and ask if I can get 1lbs crawfish and 1 main dish since I was eating alone. The owner kicked me out like a beggar Not recommended if you’re not Asian also.

The crawfish was great! It was fresh, large, and full of flavor. It was a little pricy but for good crawfish it was well worth it.

Ordering food takes awhile. I’ve ordered only 2 pounds of crawfish and it took about 30 minutes to come out, but they do have some awesome tasty crawfish!

Crawfish boil: A — Good texture not over cooked. Flavor gets a b minus. Crawfish are large and medium, not small. It’s probably the better CF boils in Houston. Service: D They are under staffed but I hear they are bringing uncle quoc and X-Bo over from the mother land to help with this. All other food: D The étouffée is gross. Tastes like it came from a can or a powder mix. Overall I’d eat here again for the boil.

I“ve been to Cajun Corner a few times. This time I came in for the po boy. The menu listed on menu-ism is a few years old, so throw about 4 bucks onto those prices, and you’ll be good. Décor? — It’s a mix between Cajun Kitsch and proper Vietnamese restaurant. The tables are covered with a red and white checkered table cloth. If you get the crawfish, they cover the table with an additional layer of plastic. The Crowd/Scene? — It’s Scarsdale, leave your suit at home. Brewski’s? — He had some domestics, a few cervezas, and possibly a Heinie in the cooler.(it’s definitely not byob) The wait for the food? — Just when you think it’s taken too long, it comes out. The boiled crawfish? It’s been a while since i’ve had it, but that’s why people generally come here. It’s served in a bag, full of spice, and comes with a bowl of limes. The Po Boy? More like a Rich Boy. The proprietor came out with this monstrosity of a sandwich. There’s so much crawfish in it, that you can’t close it like a proper po-boy. Not that I’m complaining, I’m just saying. — The bread — buttery and garlicky. I likes. — The dressing — NOMAYONNAISE, which in my book is a plus.(although fully dressed in NOLA often means mayo) — Veggies — lettuce and tomato I went with the crawfish po boy. Crawfish is deep fried. Throw a little bit of hot sauce on it(I didn’t see Tabasco/Frank’s/Louisiana Hot, but they had plenty of Sriacha), and you’re good to go. The fries are seasoned, but they’re about midway between a steak fry and a shoe string. Po Boy, Fries, Soda — 10.25 All in all, if you get a hankering for a little bit of Cajun(and Viet fusion), this is a nice neighborhood spot.

Crawfish were tasty(not the best I’ve ever had) but enjoyable enough. I like my bugs spicy and what they consider spicy is not.

Not all good restaurants make sense but I am starting to grasp this place. Go if you want to pig out on some seafood and by all means stay away from anything that mentions pasta. I imagine a Hanoi jail looking like the inside of this tacky timebomb. Like I said though, hungry for some craws, knock yourself out cheap. Oh and forget about prompt service so bring someone to talk to or stare at.

The crawfish here is the best I’ve tasted! That deserves five stars. But with the kind of service they have, I’ll give them only four. They have a few things wrong going on there. There was only one person working the cashier, taking orders and serving the food. Our crawfish took about 20 minutes to come out… I was getting real impatient. Oh yeah… the crawfish was real pricey too… around $ 6.00/lb!!! I don’t know if it’s because crawfish is expensive right now or if they just like telling people that. But yeah, it’s the most expensive crawfish I’ve eaten.
