I have been to Canvas twice, and I must say I’m very happy with the services I have received! Very professional atmosphere and great group of young ladies! Shanta did my hair on both occasions and I’m very pleased with her skills and she listen to what u want done! I recommend canvas hair studio for any of your hair needs;)

Michelle has golden hands. My hair has grown quite a bit after a few months at Canvas. It is relaxed and tangles easily because it is very fine. When I am released from After the final touch in Michelle’s chair it is silky smooth and tangle free. I now love running my hands through my hair.
Everyone is is friendly and the vibe is really nice. The products used are top notch.

Omg Jessica and Michele are the absolute best! When I first got my hair cut I was very very nervous but Michele made it easy! And the cut… yes gawd! Jessica, I needed a miracle at the last minute, she came thru! They are great!

Let me start off by saying I am very particular about who does my hair, so when I discovered this specific salon via instagram and also on YouTube I decided to consult with a stylist to see about an appointment. When there, I met with Shanta and we discussed my hair goals and what I was expecting from my visit. She is very thorough and pays attention to what’s you have to say. By far my experience exceeded all expectations, my hair came out perfect and I will be a regular client of Shanta’s because she can do it all

I had my first experience here with Tiffanie and she was very pleasant! I was nervous about getting my natural hair blown out and trimmed by someone new but she walked me through the entire process. I have been natural for almost 5 years and rarely visit a salon, except for twice a year trims or an occasional protective braid style or sew in. She was very gentle with detangling my hair dry and wet and showed me how much she would be trimming. She also didn’t have a lot of overbooked clients waiting around either. I was in and out in a few hrs. I recommend her highly and will for sure make her my go to for keeping my waist length hair healthy!

I feel amazingly beautiful! This salon is truly a woman’s retreat. It is stunning inside and the people are accommodating and kind. I recommend that you ask for Chara when you visit this salon. On my first appointment, Chara did everything to make me feel comfortable. She is knowledgeable about hair care and willing to share what she has learned in over a decade of working as a licensed professional stylist. If you can not get an appointment with Chara do not hesitate to try other talent in the salon. From the look of the other stylist they all know how to lay some hair. I would also recommend this salon for purchasing products. They offer top of the line salon quality hair care products that you cannot find everywhere, this includes hair tools as well.
From the shampoo bowl to walking out feeling like a million bucks, Canvas Hair Studio is an excellent choice.

I finally decided to try out Canvas after watching their work on Instagram for awhile. This trip, I got full sew in with Tiffanie. She was very dedicated in her work, and gave me THE best closure I’ve ever had. I really appreciated her flexibility, and how she explained every step. I only gave 4 stars because I felt like the shop could have been a touch cleaner, but it was really minor. I will definitely be coming back and glad I finally found a hairstylist in Houston.

As a professional career woman I’m extremely selective where I invest my income. I’ve come on many occasions and have not been disappointed. A friend recommended the salon and this is my go to spot for my extensions. Another plus is my head isn’t aching when I leave the shop.

Chara is the ONLY person I trust with my hair! She does not disappoint! She’s been doing my hair since 2009 and I’ve trusted her for my most important events! If you’re looking for someone who knows what she’s doing Chara is your girl! My hair is the longest and healthiest it’s ever been. I haven’t been able to find anyone that knows natural hair like she does.

I always get weaves but this is the worst place yet that I’ve slept foot in ! It’s been a week and my tracks are already falling out she gave me really big braids and it makes my head look big I only trusted this place because it didn’t have a bad review but I guess one good review isn’t enough either so I had to write my honest opinion on here ! So frustrated now I gotta go in to fix it when it’s only been a week save your money and time not worth it

I love canvas studio hair. I’ve been coming here for almost a year and I am very satisfied with every visit. I usually get my sew in done by Chara J, who is the best stylist in houston. Prior to coming here I got my first sew in done at another place in houston and it was horrible I could only wear it for 2 weeks. I googled «best sew — in in houston» and Chara J’s name came up. I decided to book an appointment and I’m glad I did. Honestly, its worth every penny to know u are dealing with someone who actually cares about your hair while enjoying what she does. Everyone at this salon is very friendly. You won’t regret it, i promise u… everyone always compliments me on my hair.

I love coming to this salon. It’s always peaceful, fun and you look beautiful when you leave and weeks after. All the stylist are talented here, I was a little afraid to try another stylist other than Chara. But I put on a brave face and tried Tiffanie Milton.
Mrs. Tiffanie is the truth. She is humble and very good at her craft. Because my hair is natural its a nightmare to wash and style because it tangles and its sometimes unruly. Every time Tiffanie washes, combs and braids my hair I hardly know she is working. Her hands glide threw my hair like nothing. I barley feel tugs or pulls. My sew-​in lasts a long time and looks professional and looks like my real hair. I have had people comment multiple times on how good my hair looks and some even think it’s my hair. This is a great salon, they run specials and are decently priced. I highly recommend trying this salon and ask for Tiffanie and a glass of wine!

Tiffany was my stylist. She did an awesome job straightening my natural hair. I was very nervous as it had been over 2 years since I’ve seen the inside of a salon. She was professional, patient and a pro with my mane. I’ve already booked my next appointment.
