Food is awesome. Service is poor(especially on the north end inside section of the restaurant).

Eat here all the time. Consistently good food with some healthy alternatives. Superb staff. Good place for a drink too. Usually eat at the bar as there no table service.(If at table, u order at bar and food is delivered to table). Especially enjoy steak night on mon and Wednesday and breakfast on sat and sun.

They have Robert Earl Keen Honey Pilsner! Enough said! Or not… After hearing about how great this place was, I felt compelled to go and see what all of the fuss was about. First of all, the place just looks cool. Great out door seating and comfortable surroundings inside. The food was pretty good. We basically had snacks and adult beverages. Refer to first sentence. The staff was fun to deal with. Next time we go it will have to be a full meal. BTW, did I mention that the have Robert Earl Keen Honey Pilsner?

3.5 for Canyon Creek! In summary… a great place to chill with food that is just s’okay. Food is a 3. Horribly expensive for what you are getting, but you can sit there indefinitely with your friends. It’s just fairly generic bar food. $ 11.95 for a cheeseburger. $ 12.95 for a club sandwich. $ 13.95 for a chicken quesadilla I could make at home. People rave about the sweet potato fries, but they don’t clock in as memorable. Parking is le shit unless you stumble upon a miracle like I did today. Signs are everywhere to remind you that towing companies are fans of Canyon Creek customers; apparently Canyon Creek keeps those guys employed pretty well if you don’t pay attention to where you are parking! Vibe is a 5! Everyone raves about the Creek series’ patios, and this one is no exception. A fabulous place to enjoy great weather. I absolutely love the down to earth, slightly grungy feel on the inside. Plenty of neon and TVs with sports action on, which is a mega bonus to me always. Love how they also have signs that are pretty specific about what nights have table service, though you can always order at the bar. Staff is super chill and seems to have a lot of freedom while on the clock like a mom and pop shop, which isn’t a bad thing as long as service happens as needed… and it did! So no complaints. Friendly. Would come back!

I was pretty grumpy coming here after church on a Sunday because the traffic and parking was ridiculous. This place gets pretty busy and it can be hard to find a parking spot. However, their frozen mimosa made up for it. I came here with a friend of mine and we sat near the bar but this place is unique in a sense that the whole place feels like sitting outside because of the big open spaces to the outside(it basically felt like sitting in a big garage). The weather was nice that day so I was pretty happy about the spot that we sat. They have different kinds of chairs to choose from: sofa, wooden dining tables, wooden benches etc. The place is filled with artsy and bar type stuff(you catch my drift). Bathrooms were pretty clean(I can only speak for the Women’s). I ordered the runner’s bowl which is two poached eggs on a bed of quinoa and spinach, topped with two grilled asparagus and chicken sausage. The eggs were made correctly and tasted delicious with my spinach and quinoa. The chicken sausage was surprisingly good to me because it looked questionable(wasn’t sure if it was cooked all the way or not). The blend of everything was a good hearty brunch, along with my frozen mimosa. My friend and I just ordered at the bar because we figured it was faster that way. The guy got my drink on a timely manner and our food came out at a reasonably good time. I will be back for some frozen mimosas!

We have a big group and need a cool place to eat: Canyon Creek Its a beautiful day outside and want to sit outside: Canyon Creek I am eating healthy but might want to have a beer: Canyon Creek Its hot as hell outside and I want something frozen: Canyon Creek Man its Sunday, I’m hungover, and need food: Canyon Creek I really want to catch the game: Canyon Creek I am in gym clothes and ready to grub: Canyon Creek I have my 2 kids but actually want to hangout someplace cool: Canyon Creek Ok… I have done my best to outline the kind of place Canyon Creek really is. It literally has something for everyone. I really enjoy this spot, and there are many reasons that you will too. It is a super casual establishment, with seriously yummy food and drinks. I would call it your usual texas-style american fare… complete with burgers, hot dogs, chips + queso, frito pies, etc. but there is a SOLID selection of really good healthy options as well. The salads are amazing! I like the counter service style too, you can just walk up to the bar, order, and get a number and seat yourself. They do also have servers for the tables if you want to go that route. I have already mentioned the salads(sorry, I do love my rabbit food!) but I dont think you can go wrong with anything on the menu here. The burgers are solid, sweet potato fries are amazing, queso is good, and their fried pickles are delish. The service is always pretty on point, everyone is friendly, and usually the food and drinks come out really fast. I have also been for brunch several times, and it was awesome! They have a great bloody mary bar on the weekends as well. They have an unreal amount of televisions everywhere, indoors and out. making this a great spot to catch any game. For me, I think this is such a winning place since there is something for everyone on the menu. Parking is relatively easy… they have a private lot, but there is usually a decent amount of street parking as well… bonus!

Overpriced, terrible parking. They do have a nice patio and decent food. But too pricey for the location.

Oh Canyon Creek, how I love your laid-back vibe and awesome drinks. I love all the«creek» locations actually. Every time I have visited, I have left with a smile on my face and good stories to share with people later. This is not just a bar, it’s also a really good restaurant! And although it tends to be loud and crowded and there’s drinking going on, families do go as well. On one occasion, my boyfriend and I were there for drinks and it was a very crowded night. There were promo girls handing out free shots and everything was great until I looked beside us and saw a baby there! Yes a cute, tiny human baby. It caught me off guard given the atmosphere of the place, but everything was cool after I realized that babies just wanna have fun too. Am I right? So I totally recommend this place, good for groups, couples, singles, and entire families. Everyone is friends here.

I was here for a happy hour event so I don’t have too much to say. However I noticed that the nachos were cold and the service seemed to take forever. The layout of the place is neat but parking sucks. I’d have to give it another try before I came to any strong decisions on raiting this place.

Canyon Creek is my go-to bar. I love this place! The bartenders are chill, the foods is consistent and atmosphere is always exactly what I’m looking for… non pretentious, calm, and lots of laughter and friends chatting. I’ve had most of the entrees on the menu and everything is always good. I’d say that most of the food is not typical bar food and is reasonably priced. They have a ton of tv’s so if you are looking for a place to watch a game this is a great spot. Plus, they have an awesome patio with even more tv’s.

The creek chains of pubs/bars/restaurants are a fun place to sit back and enjoy a drink with friends. Canyon Creek is no different — it’s a nice location off Westcott near I-10, parking is miserable, and the drinks are cold. They have a large patio with lots of fans, so you can sit outside even during the warm months without being too overwhelmed. The waitstaff has been attentive and friendly the couple of times I’ve been here, but I’ve never been late or during peak drinking hours in weekends. I’m hearing great things about their brunch and am looking forward to eating there soon. The food during the evenings is typical bar food– burgers, nachos, sandwiches/wraps, and a few salads to choose from. I really love their wide selection of frozen drinks — including a frozen drink if the day! Yummy and cold and alcoholic= a great summer evening.

Cool place. Usually well staffed. Huge patio. Watched the Rockets game there on Friday and it was a good atmosphere. Like all the Creeks the food is good. Parking is no bueno. I’ve been here about 4 – 5 times and always had fun.

My mom and I went to lunch recently at Canyon Creek by Memorial Park, and we had a great time. I had been before, but only for drinks. I did have a certain high expectation of the food though because I am a big fan of Creek Group restaurants Lowbrow, Onion Creek, and Dry Creek. Much like Onion Creek and Dry Creek, the atmosphere is that of a fun, welcoming, neighborhood bar, where one would expect typical standard bar fare. And much like the others, first-time patrons are pleasantly surprised with creative, high quality, top-notch food. For the record, if my mother sees hummus anywhere on a menu, she can’t not order it. So obviously she couldn’t not order it when she spotted it on Canyon Creek’s menu. Canyon Creek goes above and beyond to make this roasted pepper hummus plate really special. Served with pita bread, vegetables, tzatziki sauce, and(what really sent it over the edge) a gorgeous hunk of feta, this beautiful plate was vibrant, fresh, and light. The creamy, mild hummus, salty olives, crunchy cucumber, and tart feta fused together perfectly atop a piece of simple pita, drizzled with the light tzatziki. Without much persuasion from me, she also ordered the fried pickles. As a general rule, I like fried pickles. As a new general rule, I freaking love Canyon Creek’s fried pickles. Fried pickles have a tendency to be a little soggy, but these were super crunchy, with a delightful, slightly spicy seasoning. The pickles themselves were bursting with wonderful sour flavor. And dipped in the ranch dressing, they were perfect. Y’all, I’m going to say it: Best fried pickles I’ve ever had. For my meal I ordered the luckenburger with a soy boca patty and no bacon to make it vegetarian. I’ll admit it — you could slap a fried egg on a piece of paper, and I’ll eat it. So put one on a veggie burger, and I’m happy as a clam in high tide! The patty itself wasn’t anything exceptional(though I do go nuts over the hummus wrap with soy boca patty at Onion Creek, which admittedly is probably the same patty). But the egg, smooth white cheddar, crisp vegetables, and fluffy buttery bun gave the patty a significant extra nudge, which made the dish enjoyable. So while it wasn’t my favorite veggie burger I have ever encountered, or even in the top five, it was still a respectable contender. Ugh, and those fries. Just like the fries served at Onion Creek, they had a zippy seasoning, and were delightfully crunchy. Dip ‘em in the broken yolk, and I swear you’ll see stars. I am beyond happy to report that I have fallen in love with yet another Creek Group joint. Canyon Creek is a lively, fun spot, serving inventive, delicious, beyond-standard bar food. It’s definitely gained a secure spot in my Houston restaurant rotation, and I definitely recommend adding it to yours!

Food is good. Nice that they have some actual dishes on the menu. The flat iron steak is quite tasty Parking is a bit of a pain. After 6 pm you can park on the lot next door Crowd kinda sucks. How many bro dudes can you fit in one place? Once alcohol comes in the picture they get out of control… its like feeding gremlins after midnight

SUCH A KICKASSPLACE! Great food, great atmosphere, great staff, wonderful beer and Texas spirits selection… I could go on and on about Canyon Creek. Breakfast They serve breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays starting at 7am! I love to come here after finishing my run at Memorial(no need to get all dressed up). You absolutely must try there frozen mimosas! I have not had a bad thing on the breakfast menu, but I normally opt for the Mamas plate. Lunch and Dinner Frito Pies, Fried Pickles, Turkey Wrap, Turkey Burger, Queso, Quesadillas, Sammiches, etc… My mouth is watering just thinking about there delicious food menu. They have 2 other locations in the Heights that are equally amazing!

I’m so sad! As a regular here I cannot believe how sour all the girls at the bar are today! Almost rude, nearly verging on Luby’s style service. It is New Years Day & that could be why. These poor things are either hungover or bitter cuz they went home alone last night. Either way-as a paying customer I should not have to coddle the bartender back to life. Enjoy your 5% tip!!!

Disclaimer: I did not order a burger! I wasn’t too hungry so I ended up ordering a kid’s meal of grilled chicken breast with a side of fruits. The chicken was just a basic grilled chicken breast, no sauces, nothing special. However, it wasn’t bland! Nowhere near dry, not juicy — nicely cooked but slightly burnt on the outside(didn’t phase me). I only ate half of it. The environment is very casual– loud music, sports tv, etc.; outdoor seating is provided as well, which I would have preferred! Anyway, I’d love to come back and try one of their burgers. 4 stars, til next time!!!

Came here for game day on Saturday. Sat on the patio outside the whole afternoon and it was wonderful. Had a few of the frozen drinks and they were all tasty. I got the veggie sandwich and the bf got the burger, both were delish. Note: if you are here to WATCH the game. Like intensely watch it, the TV’s on the patio have a pretty distracting glare from the sun so you would have to sit inside. I just go to drink so ain’t no thang to me.

I have been here a few times and it is always enjoyable. The last time I went they had table service which was a pleasant surprise. It is fun to sit outside on their patio with friends and enjoy a beer. It’s a nice environment. The burgers are always juicy and I like their sweet potato fries. They have a good beer menu with lots of choices. If you are looking for a place to get a burger, grab a beer, and watch a game this is a great option.

It’s definitely been a while since I last popped into one of the many ‘Creek’ locations, but I gotta say that I’m supes impressed with Canyon Creek’s breakfast/brunch options. As delicious as fried chicken topped over biscuits sounded, I was in the mood to keep things light, and thankfully they feature a few more healthy options in comparison to their other locations. I ended up with the Runners Bowl — quinoa topped with two poaches eggs, a side of avocado, asparagus, chicken sausage, strawberries and a side of wheat toast. It was beyond filling, and I could have easily shared this with a pal. Bloody mary was good — you have to dress it to your liking at the bar area set up with olives, hot sauce, lemons, limes, etc. Be sure to ask for horseradish beforehand because oddly enough, it’s not provided at the bar. Don’t miss out on ordering a frozen mimosa or other refreshing brunch bev(frozen Texas tea). There’s plenty of patio space and indoor seating, friendly staff, clean restrooms. I wouldn’t mind another visit after a run at Memorial Park.
