Don’t stay here unless you are a hooker from Tijuana. Fuck you Expedia for booking me here-you idiot customer service person suggested it. He should be fired, or at least kicked in the balls.

This place is a shit hole. I was greeted with a couple roaches running across the floor. The chair in the room was so dirty and disgusting that if it was placed on the street, nobody would pick it up. The towels are threadbare sandpaper. Avoid.

After trying 3 other places we stopped here for the night. It wasn’t bad but I think the pricing is wrong here. They gave us the«medical discount» which came to just under 70 $ for a king size bed room. Not sure what that would be without this«discount» but it seems a little expensive for what they offer. It had been after two days and 20 some odd hours of driving so we were too tired to care. Bed was comfy, room was cute. TV was jacked up and had wiggly lines that was not because of a loose cable(I checked). No bed bugs. Internet worked and was fast. Etc. There was a really cute rose made out of wash rags in the room that was mega cute. All in all not terrible but for 70 $ I feel like we could of had better.

This was an … interesting place to stay. Found a good rate through based on the sights we wanted to see during our stay, and booked in advance. Then when we arrived the front desk girl said she didn’t have our reservation and they only had one room left? Right before I could panic, she went ahead and put us in the«remaining» room and said to come by in the morning to deal with it. In the morning, somehow, the new girl working knew exactly what we were talking about and pulled out our registration paperwork in no time flat. Oh well, glad it was a happy ending. Ultimately it was very affordable, and it was adequate. I liked the fact that it had a kitchen we could use for breakfast, though we didn’t really take advantage of it. The fruit/cereal provided was underripe and very basic and could easily be improved with a modicum of effort. I was surprised to find that they did, in fact, have a gym area– it’s super out dated but it works if you insist on getting in your vacation workout. The beds were comfortable, 2nd floor room felt safe, only complaint was that we had an issue with the lighting while we were there– one of the lamps wouldn’t turn on, so the only light we could use was the bathroom light for our first night, but it was quickly addressed. Not sure I would necessarily TRY to stay here again, but it was decent and we didn’t have any problems.

I should have looked more carefully. It’s a 2 floor motel. Not the most welcoming front door but the front desk was courteous and I was feeling better. The room was — well — bare bones and very, very noisy. Right outside my room was the 24 hour Whataburger. The room and furniture were dated and a bit battered. Vinyl tile on the floor made me a little more comfortable than carpet would have. The walls were stucco style painted glossy orange. External conduit clipped to the wall provided outlet to a dated air conditioner. It was too late to move to another hotel or I would have. As it was, I pulled the covers aside and slept in my clothes waiting for morning. Positive: Room seemed relatively clean and I saw no bugs. Also true, it was dirt cheap so if money was a big concern, then maybe — but not for me.

Nice, clean and comfortable hotel. Great location, near the Medical Center, and not far from the Museum District. VERY hospitable staff. You wont be disappointed!
